Dollars cost more money to make than the value therein. The American government does NOT make their own money. Most people on the planet, including some of you people reading this, think the U.S. Gov DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES DOES make their own money but they don't. Think about the gold standard. Also think about how dollars are traded with other currencies internationally. Think about U.S. debt that the U.S. government has.

The dollar loses value because America does not make their own money. That is special unlike many countries.
