Free Power?

Why are patents on free-energy sources, including kinetic-based power sources, banned and then seized? Why do federalized institutions storm into your house unannounced to steal those things to keep you from helping people have free independent power sources? Why are they keeping most people blind to easy free power? Why are we not allowed to have free power? Why do we have to pay money for power when we can have free power? Why do they try very hard to hide free energy from most humans?
