¿A que no conocías esta variedad de primates?: visita al Parque de las Leyendas, Perú (ESP/ENG)

Si viste el video en su totalidad, me gustaría que me permitieras saber en la sección de comentarios: ¿cuál de estas especies de primates conocías? En lo particular no conocía ninguna de ellas, por eso de todo el recorrido por el Parque de las Leyendas, esto fue lo que más llamó mi atención, por lo que en esta parte escrita de la publicación realizaré una breve reseña de los diversos primates presentados en el video, no obstante a modo de cultura general quiero iniciar con esta interrogante:

¿Qué es la UICN?

Esta es la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza, su fundación data desde el año 1948, se considera la organización medioambiental más grande del mundo, de allí a que sea una referencia entre tantas otras cosas, en el establecimiento del estado de conservación de las especies.

¿Te gustan los animales? Si tu respuesta es sí, esta publicación te llenará de mucha ternura, porque estos singulares animalitos que te presentaré, transmiten mucho de eso.

Este primer primate de nombre científico “CEBUELLA PYGMAEA” , de verdad que inspira una gran ternura, su tamaño es de 13 a 20 cm y su peso oscila entre los 100gr y 400 gr. Coloquialmente lo llaman “MONO LEONCITO, MONO DE BOLSILLO”. El segundo tipo de primate con el que nos encontramos fue el “MONO HUAPO COLORADO”, científicamente llamado “CACAJAO CALVUS” , una especie bastante curiosa:

Este primate se conoce como “MONO ARDILLA” , sus características en cuanto a la longitud medida desde la cabeza hasta la cola, oscila entre 62 cm a 82 cm, con un peso que puede variar de 0.55kg a 1.25 kg. El siguiente primate es el llamado “CALLICEBUS CUPREUS”:

Este primate se caracteriza por tener una cola de longitud entre los 33 cm a 48 cm, y un cuerpo que aproximadamente mide entre 28 a 36 cm. Su peso va de 0.8 kg a 1,4 kg. Otra variedad interesante con la que me encontré fue con el PITHECIA MONACHUS.

El PITHECIA MONACHUS tiene una longitud que va desde los 55 cm a los 105 cm, medida la misma desde la cabeza hasta la cola. Su peso es aproximadamente de 1.5 kg a 4 kg. Y este recorrido por esta fascinante variedad de primates cierra con el LAGOTHRIX LAGOTRICHA.

Este hermoso primate tiene una longitud corporal que escila entre 45 a 55 cm. Vale destacar que su cola es bastante larga, llegando alcanzar los 65 cm. El peso promedio de este primate es de 7kg, aunque asombrosos ejemplares que llegan a los 15 kg.

Saludos mi pana @jonsnow1983 muy contento de leer este comentario. En cuanto al micrófono he notado trabas en su uso por lo encargados de los espacios, debo pensar un plan b para esos casos. Y en cuanto a la variedad de monitos es de verdad impresionante, y si ese mono leoncito es bastante peculiar, saludos y abrazo desde el Perú!
