Puede que esté escrito se trate más de un desahogo que de fútbol como tal, ya que la selección de Venezuela atraviesa un hermoso momento de cara a la próxima Copa del Mundo que se celebrará en 2026 y nuestra Vinotinto tiene posibilidades serías de asistir a su primer Mundial. Maturín se ha convertido en la casa de la selección en sus partidos de local, pero en este tercer partido ante Ecuador falló, y no quiero generalizar, ya que hablara de personas que no considero fanática de nuestra selección nacional.

Este 16 de noviembre la Vinotinto le tocaba enfrentar por la quinta fecha de las Eliminatorias Sudamericanas rumbo al Mundial Estados Unidos/México/Canadá, el marco parecía espectacular para volver a vivir un lindo partido en la ciudad de Maturín, previo al partido se me salieron las lágrimas al estar viviendo lo que antes para mí era un sueño que solo me tocaba disfrutarlo por televisión. Un sueño no solo como fanático, sino como periodista deportivo.

El ambiente que se vivió fue espectacular, todo el estadio gritando los nombres de los jugadores, cantando el, “MANO, TENGO FE” y también en contra de los gobernantes actuales, lo cual lo único que opinare es que es feo mezclar el fútbol con eso.
A special day, my family in the stands, me in the press area, I could notice that for this game the restrictions were being much stricter than in previous games. Lo conocido como la “viveza criolla”, es lo que nos tiene mal. Muchos personas (insistió, esos personas no son fanáticos) asistieron al estadio Monumental de Maturín sin entrada, sabiendo la mañana de ese día del partido se dio la noticia que las entradas se habían agotado, aún así esas personas fueron sin entrada en busca de dañar la imagen de la ciudad de Maturín.

Se juntaron todas aquellas personas sin entrada y decidieron alterar el orden público, con actos de vandalismo, rompiendo la cerca y la puerta de acceso al estadio, además que se habla de una agresión a un funcionario de seguridad. El día siguiente todo esos videos se hicieron viral en las redes sociales y sentí vergüenza, que la ciudad de Maturín venía siendo tendencia por cosas positivas y en esta ocasión no nos podemos enorgullecer por las situaciones vividas en un partido que estaba en el ojo de todo el continente y el mundo.

Invitados desde fuera del país que venían a Maturín por primera vez, me daría pena ajena que esas personas lograrán ver esos vergonzoso videos, se habla de que más de 30 mil personas se quedaron fuera del estadio sin poder acceder a pesar que tenían sus entradas en mano, pero la cantidad de ‘coleados’, les hicieron pasar esa mala experiencia a esas personas que sí pagaron por su entrada. En la ciudad fue decretado día libre, sumándole a eso, hubo transporte gratis, para de esa forma colocarle toda esas comodidades a ese grupo de personas, que no tienen la mínima idea del disfrute del fútbol.

Además de las peleas que se realizaron tanto dentro como fuera del estadio, cambien esos videos fueron publicados en las redes sociales.

Soy de lo defensores de mi ciudad, cuando se habla de cambiar la sede de Venezuela a otro estadio, digo que en Maturín las cosas nos están saliendo bien y era impensable esa posibilidad, pero ante está situación no pudo salir a defender lo indefendible, fallamos como anfitriones para toda esa gente que nos visitan de otros estados por la culpa de esas personas que solo fueron a dañar la imagen de Maturín.

Una cagada como siempre dejándonos a todos como burla ante los demás, soy de PuntaDeMata y entre algunos panas y yo queríamos ir simplemente a joder un rato.
