Hello everyone dear friends and welcome back to my blog. Yesterday afternoon I obviously had an impulse to paint a seascape with aquamarine, perhaps due to the need to free myself from the conceptual and abstractionism of the previous days. As usual I took a sheet of paper, wet it well and started without drawing, free as a child.
Why without drawing?
For the simple reason that if I start drawing the desire to throw colored water on the paper is canceled, everything becomes more mental and constructed. When you have the desire to color, like children, you take colors, watercolors and brushes and you start expressing yourself, even doing artistic experiments.
All improvised, then what happens depends only on the water and the blending of colors.
I first wet the sheet, and then I started using very warm colors, carmine red, violet, alizarin, orange and chrome yellow, no cold colors.
Finally I drew the boats with a thin brush and reread the sea.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog. Ieri pomeriggio ho avuto improvviamente un impulso di dipingere un paesaggio marino ad acqaurello, forse per il bisogno di affrancarmi dal concettuale e astrattismo dei giorni precedenti.
Come al solito ho preso un foglio, l'ho bagnato per bene e ho iniziato senza disegnare, libero come un bambino.
Perchè senza disegno?
Per il semplice motivo che se mi metto a disegnare si annulla il desiderio di buttare dell'acqua colorata sul foglio, diventa tutto più mentale e costruito. Quando hai la voglia di colorare, come i bambini, prendi i colori, gli acquarelli e i pennelli e inizi ad esprimerti, facendo anche esperimenti artistici.
Tutto improvvisato, poi quello che succede dipende soltanto dall'acqua e dalle fusioni dei colori.
Ho prima bagnato il foglio, e poi ho iniziato a usare i colori molto caldi, rosso carminio, violetto, alizarina, arancione e giallo cromo, niente colori freddi.
Infine ho disegnato le barche con il pennello sottile e effettuato i rilessi sul mare.
Spero che il mio acquarello vi sia piaciuto, e vi mando un abbraccio dalla barca a vela dei miei sogni.
