IN VOLTERRA TO GET ALABASTER STONES
Hello dear friends,
Today I share as promised images of the beautiful Volterra.
I went there with my friend Vittoria because I had to take some alabasters that I will need for my next sculptures, and since we were already there we visited a little bit the center and some alabaster and wooden crafts stores.
A VOLTERRA A PRENDERE LE PIETRE DI ALABASTRO
Ciao cari amici,
Oggi condivido come promesso le immagini della bellissima Volterra.
Ci sono andata con la mia amica Vittoria perché dovevo prendere degli alabastri che mi servoniranno per le mie prossime sculture, e visto che eravamo giá li abbiamo visitato un po' il centro e qualche negozio di alabastro e oggetti artigianali in legno.
In particular I was fascinated by these chess sets, which I found one more beautiful than the other 🤩
In particolare mi hanno affascinato queste scacchiere, che trovavo una piú bella dell' altra 🤩
We then had a very good pizza and despite Volterra is quite far from the next towns it was lively and full of people. I really liked it 😃
Finally here are the alabasters we took from the field, of which I chose two to take home.
Abbiamo poi mangiato una buonissima pizza e malgrado Volterra sia abbastanza lontano dalle prossime cittá era vivissima e piena di gente. Mi é davvero piaciuta 😃
Infine eccovi qui gli alabastri che abbiamo preso dal campo, di cui io ne ho scelti due per portarli a casa.

Da Volterra ci passavo spesso quando andavo a Piombino; E' davvero un posto bellissimo!
D'altronde Tutta la Toscana lo è!
Mi manca davvero tanto vivere in quei posti meravigliosi e spero in futuro di poterci tornare.

L'architettura degli edifici è qualcosa che cattura sempre la mia attenzione, le colonne, piuttosto forte, non come alcuni edifici in questo paese in cui le persone perdono i loro beni quando acquistano un appartamento che godono per alcuni anni, tutto a causa della corruzione, c'è non c'è più fiducia da comprare, i palazzi crollano come se fossero di sabbia, forse è l'unica cosa che ci mettono sopra e non ti sto mentendo.
Gli edifici antichi lí tengono da tanti anni e terranno per moltissimi altri anni 😅
