Hello all Splinterlands friends, here we are at the usual appointment with the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge, an event that aims to share players' gaming experiences in front of some of the roller sets present in the game. The goal is to learn and grow by also observing the battles of the hundreds of players who compete daily and thus improve their performance.
This week's rulset is Fog of War and all units lose the Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity abilities, so basically it is impossible to attack from a distance because the fog would nullify any attack. The battle is made even more difficult by the Earthquake rulset which deals 2 health points of damage every turn, with the exception of cards with winged characteristics, also determining a wide oscillation in the progress of the battle, uncertain until the end.
For the challenge, I first chose the summoner of the Fire element ETERNAN BRUNE, offering a penalty of 2 armor points to the opponents, a significant advantage in a battle in which armor is essential to resist opponent attacks, especially in the absence of cards with magical attack. Soulbound cards are now omnipresent in my lineups and their use has allowed me to significantly improve my performances and consistently reach the Champions ranking. Gladius cards are also an integral part of my formations, like the powerful CHIMNEY WALLSTOP, perfect in second position with a truly powerful attack, as well as a defense that resembles a mighty fortress.
The battle was long and unfortunately the outcome was not the best. My opponent won clearly, the rulset is not easy to manage and as always a good dose of luck always helps. But this time it wasn't my turn. Honor and credit to my opponent!

Ciao a tutti amici si Splinterlands, eccoci al consueto appuntamento con il Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge, evento che ha l'obiettivo di condividere le esperienze di gioco dei giocatori di fronte ad alcuni dei rulset presenti nel gioco. L'obiettivo è quello di imparare e crescere osservando anche le battaglie delle centinaia di giocatori che quotidianamente si sfidano e migliorare così la propria prestazione.
Il rulset di questa settimana è Fog of War e tutte le unità perdono le abilità Sneak, Snipe, e Opportunity, per cui sostanzialmente è impossibile attaccare dalla distanza perché la nebbia renderebbe nullo qualsiasi attacco. La battaglia è resa ancora più ardua dal rulset Earthquake che ad ogni turno affligge un danno di 2 punti salute, ad esclusione delle carte con caratteristiche alate, determinando anche un'oscillazione ampia sull'andamento della battaglia, incerta sino alla fine.
Per la sfida, ho scelto innanzitutto il summoner dell'elemento Fire ETERNAN BRUNE, offrendo un malus di 2 punti armatura degli avversari, un vantaggio non di poco conto in una battaglia in cui l'armatura è fondamentale per resistere agli attacchi avversari, in assenza soprattutto di carte con attacco magico. Le carte Soulbound sono ormai onnipresenti nelle mie formazioni ed il loro utilizzo mi ha consentito di migliorare nettamente le mie prestazioni e raggiungere costantemente il ranking Champions. Anche le carte Gladius sono parte integrante delle mie formazioni, come il potente CHIMNEY WALLSTOP, perfetto in seconda posizione con un attacco davvero poderoso, oltre ad una difesa che ricorda una fortezza possente.
La battaglia è stata lunga e purtroppo l'esito non è stato dei migliori. Il mio avversario ha vinto nettamente, il rulset non è semplice da gestire e come sempre una buona dose di fortuna aiuta sempre. Ma questa volta non è stato il mio turno. Onore e merito al mio avversario!
