Hey lovelies ❤️
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍
Welcome to my blog 🤗
It's my pleasure to share with you my experience today from the start of the day till this present moment. It has been a but of a productive, stressful and eventful day, I must say. However, trust you had a great day as well and you may like to share with me your experience today in the comment section at the end of the post.
It all started with the usual morning routine of getting my son ready for school. I prepared his lunch bag with his food for the day and his father went to drop him in the school on his way out. Meanwhile, today is the Open Day in his school and I had to be in attendance. The Open Day spans through the school hours, that is, between the hours of 7.30am to 1.00pm. This means that parents can come in within that time frame to meet with their wards class teachers.
It was a proud moment for me as a mother and I was impressed with the report of his academic growth and development. His class teacher expressed her observations about his hard work and concentration in class. I felt so proud of the report I heard considering he's just starting to master his alphabets and numbers. However, there was a constructive feedback as well which have to do with his Writing. She advised that we should ensure he attempts to scribble things at home on a consistent basis and it will help his hand to be more strong in writing.
After a impressive start to my day, I made my way back to the shop with him. Back to work, but things didn't go on as planned due to the fact that there was no light for me to work. Also, the cost of fueling a generator is high and even if you manage to run on a generator it will affect the price of my services. Plus, if these additional expenses are added it means that some customers wouldn't be able to afford the services. It's a tricky situation, right?
So, instead of joining the fabrics that I had already cut, i had to spend more time to cut more fabrics as I anticipate the restoration of power supply. At least cutting of fabrics doesn't require the use of power. There was a sigh of relief when power was restored but it was quite late in the evening. So, I decided to work overtime by staying back in the shop to catch up with some outstanding work. The power supply can not be predicted - so i had to utilize it because you never can tell when the next power outage will happen and how long it will last.
I have a couple of dresees to deliver this weekend and some next weel as well. So I need every moment to be able to be productive as much as I can. It may be a bit demanding and stressful but what needs to be done needs to be done.
You may share how your day went with me in the comments. Were you able to achieve all that you set for the day. Well, if yes that's a big win and if not, remember tomorrow is another day to try again and achieve your goals.
Thanks For Reading and See You in My Next One.
