Hello to all Splinterlands friends!!!
In a few days, on April 16, a promotional initiative will kick off on the Splinterlands platform to celebrate the historic Bitcoin Halving event, where Block Rewards are halved, reducing to 3.125 BTC.
Indeed, the two new cards, the legendary Baron Fyatt and the rare Henchling Enforcer, will cost 31.25k and 3.125k DEC respectively: the prices seem very accessible. We will also observe the market quotation after a few days of sales.
Certainly, I'll buy some cards to see how these new monsters perform with the new rulesets introduced by the Splinterlands staff, as we'll see today in this week's Battle Mage Secrets.
Five Alive: This ruleset doesn't change much compared to the normal course of challenges. It simply forces us to deploy one less monster, so 5 instead of 6. As always, if the Mana Cap is high, we have more freedom in choice, while with fewer available mana, we need to brainstorm more. However, as a general advice, it's always better to try to fill all available spots rather than deploying expensive Heavyweights that prevent other monsters from joining the team.

A high Mana Cap of 53, and the new, very interesting Shadows of Gray ruleset, where we can only choose neutral cards, alongside Five Alive and Unprotected.

I've always liked neutral monsters, so I have quite a few in my collection. Therefore, after choosing Tarsa as the summoner, I deployed, in the first 3 positions, 3 new cards from the Rebellion edition, namely Grimbardun Fighter in the Tank position, followed by Mad Ogre Anarchist and Ulundin Overseer, followed by Drybone Raider and Gargoya Devil.
On the other hand, my opponent chose the summoner Spellbound named Eternan Brune, with Dumacke Orc in the first position, followed by Tatiana Blayde, Xenith Archer, Gobson Bomber, and finally Venari Marksrat.
The -2 Armor from my opponent's summoner, Eternan Brune, had no effect with the Unprotected ruleset, while the +1 Melee and health from my Tarsa provided a significant boost to my entire team. By round 2, the superiority of my team was evident, with all 5 of my monsters alive and active on the battlefield, thanks to their very high Health stats, while my opponent was left with only one monster on the field.

E infatti le 2 nuove carte, la leggendaria Baron Fyatt e la rara Henchling Enforcer, costeranno rispettivamente 31,25k e 3,125k Dec: i prezzi sembrano molto accessibili, vedremo anche la quotazione del mercato dopo qualche giorno che sarà partita la vendita.
Io ,sicuramente, qualche carta me la comprerò, così potrò vedere come si comportano questi nuovi mostri con i nuovi ruleset che lo staff di Splinterlands ci ha messo, come che vedremo oggi nel nel Battle Mage Secrets di questa settimana.
Five Alive: questo ruleset non cambia tantissimo rispetto al normale svolgimento delle sfide, solamente ci costringe a poter schierare solamente un mostro in meno, quindi 5 e non più 6.
Come sempre , se il Mana Cap è alto abbiamo più libertà nella scelta, invece con pochi mana a disposizione ci dovremo spremere più le meningi, comunque, come consiglio generale, e sempre meglio cercare di riempire tutti i posti disponibili, invece che mettere costosissimi Heavyweights che precludono l'ingresso in squadra ad altri mostri.

Mi sono sempre piaciuti i mostri neutrali, quindi ne ho un bel po' nella mia collezione, quindi , dopo aver scelto Tarsa come evocatore, ho schierato , nelle prime 3 posizioni, 3 nuove carte dell'edizione Rebellion, ovvero rispettivamente, Grimbardun Fighter in posizione Tank, e a seguire Mad Ogre Anarchist e Ulundin Overseer, seguiti da Drybone Raider e Gargoya Devil.
Il mio avversario, invece, ha scelto l'evocatore Spellbound di nome Eternan Brune, con Dumacke Orc in prima posizione, e a seguire Tatiana Blayde, Xenith Archer, Gobson Bomber e , a chiudere, Venari Marksrat.
Il -2 in Armor delle evocatore del mio avversario, Eternan Brune, non ha avuto nessun effetto con il ruleset Unprotected, mentre il +1 in Melee e health dato dalla mia Tarsa ha donato un boost molto importante a tutta la mia squadra, e già al round 2 si capiva la superiorità del mio team, con i miei 5 mostri tutti vivi e attivi in campo, grazie anche alle loro altissime stats di Health, e il mio avversario che è rimasto con un solo mostro in campo.

Can you please explain what Mana Cap means?
Each card has a cost in Mana, and the Mana Cap is the max amount of mana points you can use to choose your monsters.
