Its good to see the crypto market recovering after such a massive downfall where almost $20+ Billion dollars was liquidated in just one day. I guess this would have been the major washout phase in crypto history that has happened. This literally shook out weak hands and over-leveraged traders. The ones who truly believe in the long term vision of crypto had no options but to continue to #hodl their didgital assets and DCA [Dollar Cost Average] where possible, turning every dip into an opportunity to strengthen their portfolio. The global cryptocurrency market cap today sits aropund $4.01+ Trillion, which is like 6% up when compared to the last 24 hours trading session. So what did I do? Have a look at the following image which I have taken from the dashboard of peakd for my account.
HIVE Powered UP - Next target 250K+ HP...
I was holding around 26K+ liquid #HIVE, but then seeing this major crypto downfall, I decided to power up almost 7K+ HIVE. This move pushed my Hive Power aka HP to the 210K+ mark, which is quite a decent jump and a strong commitment toward long-term growth on the Hive blockchain. And not only this major HIVE powered up but I would say most of the time I am powering up all the HIVE that I am earning. At the same time my foscus is around converting all the passive income streams generated here on the chain to be swapped for HIVE and then power it all up. That is the major reason for my exponentiall HP growth.
It bit hurts when we see HIVE trading below $0.20 cents and that is where I feel to accumulate as much as HIVE possible. I go to an extent to even swap my other crypto assets staking rewards for HIVE. As an example currently I am swaaping all my #COTI rewards for #HIVE. There’s also a plan to buy more $HIVE via P2P (Peer-to-Peer) trade, so let’s see if I can grab another 5K+ HIVE using fiat.At the moment, I’m not in favor of buying from exchanges — P2P remains my preferred choice, as it offers better flexibility and direct deals with other traders. Our Indian discord channel is the best soruce here to do the P2P trades. Ok this was a bit on HIVE GROWTH via power up and as an investment strategy. I also wanted to touch base up my curation rewards that is also adding up to my HP growth. There was a time when my curation rewards were just around 20+ $HIVE, but now with 210K+ HP in hand, the rewards are getting really interesting. They’ve reached the 55+ $HIVE mark, which is a great deal, isn’t it? How is your HIVE curation rewards looking like? Overall, I would say that during times when markets are not in our favor and we see the bears taking control, it’s actually a good time to focus on building, learning, and accumulating — rather than panicking or selling in fear. Yes it was a bargain but then I guess no one was able to get at these levles as most of the exchanges were down. Anyways right now also HIVE is being sold at a bargain price. cheers
Respect for powering up 7K+ HIVE during the crash instead of running. That’s real conviction, not just talk.
But let me ask an uncomfortable question: you’re selling everything for HIVE—even other staking rewards. That means 80%+ of your portfolio is now HIVE. What if this becomes a prolonged bear and HIVE stays under $0.20 for two more years?
You said ‘good time to build, not panic.’ Agreed. But diversification exists precisely for this moment—when everything seems obvious. History shows most losses happen when we’re most certain.
210K HP is a great milestone, but is the risk/reward better, or should you wait to reach it with just HIVE earnings, without liquidating other assets?
Diversification is good and I do have some tokens like #COTi, VIDYA where I have a decent investment. But majority is in HIVE...choice is on the person where to put the majority of funds. cheers

Channeling those COTI rewards into HIVE is the killer move here, turning drip income into real compounding. Your plan make sense in a market like this, buy the value while price is sleepy and let HP snowball :) My calcualtor actually smiled reading this.. not kidding
