I was logging into splinterlands website constantly to check the maintenance was done. I was eager and emotional to play splinterlands. I began to think that, if small player like me is affected so much, how much the maintenance would have affected big players?
I was in element chatting with friends, I could see how people reacted when the splinterlands was down for several hours. This maintenance hours on splinterlands affected me so much. I never thought I have so much passion for the game until during previous maintenance when the splinterlands was down for more than 16 hours.
The maintenance was finished few hours towards the end of the season. I was eager to play splinterlands but I realized that I would be defeated so much because big players are everywhere to play, players who have missed splinterlands were everywhere to gain more points.
The maintenance is done and dusted. Splinterlands is back for good. We are all enjoying the game.
Players are now emotional to splinterlands. I don't know how frustrated you are when the system was down; but for me I was frustrated.
Reading articles of @xawi interview today, I was really motivated and inspired to work harder. I realized she's a young lady with goals and target; she's a goal oriented, disciplined, dedicated and passionate. I knew many people started before her but they couldn't reach xawi's position in splinterlands today. It is not that they don't have the money to buy packs or no time for them to play but thinking nothing will come out of the splinterlands. From her interview, I realized that opportunity will always presents itself; it is now left for you to grab it. Dedication is the key because it opens more ways for you; laziness is a disease that will never allow you to grow and keeps someone in a spot.
I introduced one of my friends to the game, he did not join despites of watching me playing the game, until SPS token was launched; he said, "I would have joined when you told me because now cards are very expensive in the market".
Splinterlands is an opportunity for me, and I grabbed the opportunity.
Those my friends that joined splinterlands and those that are yet to join; I want you to be serious with whatever things you are doing. You dedication will surely speaks one day, people will come and Interview you; People will commends your work, they will eager to know your success story; they will be attached to you; love you and be able to follow your steps.
It is not too late to join splinterlands. This game is an opportunity for you to explore and get more money for yourself. Splinterlands is an investment opportunity for you. Money can never be enough because the more you are getting the money, the more of your responsibility; and, the more goals you also set for yourself.
There are rental systems everywhere, if you can't afford to buy cards, you can rent cards to play. When you are playing, you will get money for rented cards and profit for yourself.
