LeoFinance 2 days ago launched its Yield Farming platform together with the new CUB token all living on the Binance Smartchain, for those still far from this new world the Yield Farming platforms are sites where you can get a passive reward on your own cryptocurrencies in a simple and instant way.
In practice, your cryptocurrencies are held in a smart contract that will use them within the platform to allow other users to exchange their tokens for another by paying fees, those fees will be the earnings you receive by making your cryptocurrencies available .
The first platforms of this type were born on Ethereum such as Uniswap, Yearn Finance or Aave which in a very short time acquired billions of dollars within them.
With the launch by Binance of its Smartchain, which boasts far lower fees than Ethereum, many similar Dapps have been developed, one of the most famous is Pancakeswap which currently has a TVL (Total Value Locked) of more than 4 billions of dollars.
CUB is the step forward in the world of the DEFI of the LeoFinance team and in a few days it has already managed to record a TVL of almost 8 million dollars, at the moment the project is still young and manages to guarantee really crazy percentages of annual return (more than 1000%) that will gradually lower, now let's go and have a better look at the platform itself and how it works.
Before being able to use the platform some things will be essential:
- A non-custodial wallet such as Trustwallet or Metamask (Metamask must be configured to use it on BSC, I use Trustwallet which is already compatible)
- A little bit of BNB to cover the transaction costs (usually between $ 0.10 and $ 0.50 per transaction)

This is the homepage of the site where you can find some information such as the statement of the CUBs you are earning, the latest announcements from the team, the circulating supply of the CUB, the market capitalization and the TVL in the various pools.
First you will need to connect our wallet to the site by pressing the connect button at the top right and choose our wallet from the compatible ones.
If you use Trustwallet (available only on mobile) and you want to connect with the PC you must use WalletConnect and frame the QR code with the phone by opening the Trustwallet settings and selecting the "WalletConnect" item.
Now that the portfolio is connected we can start to see the main sections of the site which are: Trade, Farms and Dens
Trade
The trade section is further divided into Exchange and Liquidity, in Exchange we can swap many tokens circulating on the BSC, just select the token we want to sell and the one we want to receive and enter the amount we want to exchange, the site will take care of exchange them at the best available price.
In the Liquidity section, on the other hand, you can add liquidity in an exchange pair to receive LP tokens, similarly to the previous one you will need to choose the 2 currencies that we want to give in exchange for these tokens called LP tokens (liquidity provider) which guarantee the value of the tokens that have been put in the pool, once we have this LP token we can put it inside the farms to start farming the CUB tokens.
We must first see the available farms in the appropriate section, for example if we want to have the LP tokens to invest in the bLEO-BNB pool, we must select the two currencies and enter an amount, but we must give the same "dollar" value of the two tokens, for example if we put 1 BNB we should put the equivalent of 1 BNB in bLEO which are about 292 at the moment.
Once the transaction is approved you will receive the LP tokens to be placed in the farm pools.
Farms
This is the Farms section where you can find all the pools available at the moment where to deposit your LP tokens, each pool has its own APR (the annual percentage return), the currency that is earned (earn) and some have a deposit fee that it will be used to buy CUB and bLEO.
To put our LP tokens to work that we received first, we just need to approve the contract of the pool that interests us (in our example it will be the bLEO-BNB LP pool) and then deposit the LP tokens, we will start immediately based on how many LP have deposited to see the amount of CUBs they are earning, when you want to receive the CUBs farmed on the wallet just press on "Harvest" and when you want you can remove the LP tokens to redeem them in the Liquidity section for our cryptocurrencies that we initially put in liquidity.
WARNING
Investments on LP tokens are potentially subject to Impermanent Loss which can "erode" the value of the invested capital, if you do not have enough knowledge on the subject you can risk losing capital, it is better to inquire about risks that the Impermanent Loss brings.
Dens
The Dens section is very similar to Farms but here you don't need to have LP tokens, it is in fact possible to put only one token inside the pools and always receive an interest in CUB token.
Personally I consider this type of investment less risky as there is no Impermanent Loss, obviously the returns on these pools are lower than on Farms, but they are still more than satisfactory numbers.
Here, too, we must first approve the pool contract and then deposit our crypto to start receiving the CUBs.
If you are a beginner with these sites I advise you to invest in them with caution as you are still putting your money at risk, unfortunately we have already heard many times of hacked platforms or smart contracts exploited with thefts of millions and millions of dollars, including all those that have been born recently but I think that CubFinance has the potential to remain firm on the market as the LeoFinance team has been working on Hive for a long time and have proved to be a valid group that works constantly, if so the CUB token will certainly gain value in the future.
Airdrop
For all LeoPower holders here on the Hive blockchain, a CUB token airdrop is planned, the ratio of how many CUBs they will give for each LEO token is still unknown, but it should be executed in the next few hours, so you will have the opportunity to try the platform without necessarily having to trade or invest your crypto, you can use the airdrop CUBs and put them in the CUB pool of the Dens section, so as to receive other CUBs.

LeoFinance 2 giorni fa ha lanciato la sua piattaforma di Yield Farming insieme al nuovo token CUB il tutto vivente sulla Binance Smartchain, per chi fosse ancora lontano da questo nuovo mondo le piattaforme di Yield Farming sono dei siti dove si può ottenere una ricompensa passiva sulle proprie criptovalute in maniera semplice e istantanea.
In pratica si cedono le proprie crypto in uno smart contract che le utilizzerà all'interno della piattaforma per permettere ad altri utenti di scambiare un loro token per un altro pagando delle fee, quelle fee saranno il guadagno che si riceve mettendo a disposizione le proprie criptovalute.
Le prime piattaforme di questo tipo nacquero su Ethereum come ad esempio Uniswap, Yearn Finance o Aave che in pochissimo tempo acquisirono al loro interno miliardi di dollari.
Con il lancio da parte di Binance della sua Smartchain, che vanta delle fee di gran lunga inferiori rispetto ad Ethereum, si sono sviluppate tantissime Dapp similari, una delle più famose è Pancakeswap che ha attualmente un TVL (Total Value Locked) di più di 4 miliardi di dollari.
CUB è il passo in avanti nel mondo della DEFI del team di LeoFinance e in pochissimi giorni è già riuscito a registrare un TVL di quasi 8 milioni di dollari, al momento il progetto è ancora giovane e riesce a garantire delle percentuali davvero folli di ritorno annuale (più del 1000%) che pian piano si abbasseranno, ora andiamo a vedere meglio la piattaforma in se e il suo funzionamento.
Prima di poter usufruire della piattaforma saranno indispensabili alcune cose:
- Un wallet non-custodial come Trustwallet o Metamask (Metamask va configurato per utilizzarlo su BSC, io uso Trustwallet che è gia compatibile)
- Un po' di BNB per coprire i costi delle transazioni (solitamente tra gli 0.10 e gli 0.50 dollari a transazione)

Questa è la homepage del sito dove potete trovare alcune informazioni come il rendiconto dei CUB che si stanno guadagnando, gli ultimi annunci da parte del team, la supply circolante di CUB, la capitalizzazione di mercato e il TVL nelle varie pool.
Come prima cosa bisognerà connettere il nostro wallet al sito premendo il pulsante connect in alto a destra e scegliere il nostro wallet tra quelli compatibili.
Se utilizzate Trustwallet (disponibile solo su mobile) e volete connettervi con il pc dovete usare WalletConnect e inquadrare il QR code con il telefono aprendo le impostazioni di Trustwallet e selezionando la voce "WalletConnect".
Ora che il portafoglio è connesso possiamo iniziare a vedere le sezioni principali del sito che sono: Trade, Farms e Dens
Trade
La sezione trade si suddivide ulteriormente in Exchange e Liquidity, in Exchange possiamo fare lo swap di moltissimi token circolanti sulla BSC, basta selezionare il token che vogliamo cedere e quello che vogliamo ricevere e inserire l'ammontare che vogliamo scambiare, il sito si occuperà di scambiarli al miglior prezzo disponibile.
Nella sezione Liquidity invece potete aggiungere liquidità in un pair di scambio per ricevere dei token LP, analogamente a prima bisognerà scegliere le 2 valute che vogliamo cedere in cambio di questi token chiamati LP token (liquidity provider) che garantiscono il valore dei token che si sono messi nella pool, una volta ottenuto questo LP token possiamo metterlo all'interno delle farms per iniziare a farmare i CUB token.
Bisogna prima vedere le farms disponibili nella sezione apposita, ad esempio se vogliamo avere i token LP per investire nella pool bLEO-BNB bisognerà selezionare le due valute e immettere un importo, bisognerà però cedere lo stesso valore "in dollari" dei due token, ad esempio se mettiamo 1 BNB dovremmo mettere l'equivalente di 1 BNB in bLEO che sono circa 292 al momento.
Una volta approvata la transazione riceverete i token LP da mettere nelle farm pools.
Farms
Questa è la sezione Farms dove potete trovare tutte le pool disponibili al momento dove depositare i propri LP token, ogni pool ha il proprio APR (il ritorno percentuale annuo), la valuta che si guadagna (earn) e alcune hanno una fee di deposito che verrà usata per comprare CUB e bLEO.
Per mettere a lavoro i nostri LP token che abbiamo ricevuto prima ci basterà approvare il contratto della pool che ci interessa (nel nostro esempio sarà la pool bLEO-BNB LP) e in seguito depositare gli LP token, si inizierà da subito in base a quanti LP si sono depositati a vedere l'ammontare dei CUB che si stanno guadagnando, quando si vogliono ricevere i CUB farmati sul portafoglio basterà premere su "Harvest" e quando si vuole si possono rimuovere i token LP per andare a riscambiarli nella sezione Liquidity per le nostre crypto che abbiamo ceduto in liquidità inizialmente.
ATTENZIONE
Gli investimenti su LP token sono potenzialmente soggetti ad Impermanent Loss che può andare ad "erodere" il valore del capitale investito, se non si hanno abbastanza conoscenze sull'argomento si può rischiare di perdere del capitale, è meglio prima informarsi sui rischi che porta l'Impermanent Loss.
Dens
La sezione Dens è molto simile a Farms ma qui non serve avere i token LP, è possibile difatti mettere solo un token all'interno delle pool e ricevere sempre un interesse in CUB token.
Personalmente reputo questo tipo di investimento meno rischioso in quanto non c'è Impermanent Loss, ovviamente i ritorni su queste pool sono inferiori rispetto alle Farms, ma sono comunque dei numeri più che soddisfacenti.
Anche qui dobbiamo prima approvare il contratto della pool e poi depositare le nostre crypto per iniziare a ricevere i CUB.
Se siete alle prime armi con questi siti vi consiglio di investirci con cautela in quanto state comunque mettendo i vostri soldi a rischio, purtroppo si è già sentito molte volte di piattaforme hackerate o di smart contract exploitati con furti di milioni e milioni di dollari, tra tutte quelle che sono nate ultimamente però penso che CubFinance abbia le potenzialità di rimanere salda sul mercato in quanto il team di LeoFinance lavora da parecchio tempo su Hive e si sono dimostrati un gruppo valido che lavora costantemente, se cosi fosse il token Cub prenderà sicuramente valore in futuro.
Airdrop
Per tutti i possessori di LeoPower qui sulla blockchain di Hive, è previsto un airdrop di token CUB, ancora non si sa il rapporto di quanti CUB daranno per ogni token LEO, ma dovrebbe essere eseguito nelle prossime ore, avrete quindi la possibilità di provare la piattaforma senza dover necessariamente scambiare o investire le vostre crypto, potrete utilizzare i CUB dell'airdrop e metterli nella pool di CUB della sezione Dens, cosi da ricevere altri CUB.
