ciao hivers , ultimamente ho notato che molte persone non sanno che esistono più tipi di wallet bitcoin , e come mi ha consigliato il buon @stefano.massari scrivo 2 righe a riguardo sia come dritta per chi non ne è a conoscenza sia per aver qualche feedback sui wallet che vi trovate meglio.
il classico wallet che conosciamo è tipo

quello che voglio prendere in esame sono i "nuovi " wallet SEGWIT ,
(Segregated Witness) un protocollo di lavoro flessibile che modifica il metodo di archiviazione dei dati.
si differenza presentandosi in questo modo :

( inizia con bc ed è piu lungo del classico indirizzo )
A presentare per primo i vantaggi del SegWit fu Pieter Wuille, cofondatore della società Blockstream nel 2014,
Dalla presentazione di fine 2015 in occasione della prima conferenza “Scaling Bitcoin”, sono trascorsi quasi due anni dall’attivazione del protocollo SegWit, avvenuta nel maggio del 2017.
è gia da vari anni che è stato rilasciato ma non tutti lo conoscono e ancora molti non lo supportano , per vedere dove è supportato https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bech32_adoption
comunque se si volesse fare una transazione e non fosse supportato viene dato subito l'avviso .
ma quali sono i vantaggi di questo nuovo wallet confronto a quello vecchio ?
fee piu basse , transazioni piu veloci , scalabilità della blockchain di btc migliorata ( meno congestione )

personalmente uso solo wallet segwit dato che offre molti vantaggi rispetto ai classici wallet standart , per mobile uso Trust wallet ( casa madre Binance ) e come hard wallet Ledger .
si possono riscontrare piccoli problemi se si vogliono inviare dei btc da un wallet standart ad un wallet segwit .
ma nessun problema per fare l'opposto in quanto questi wallet sono retrocompatibili .
come aggirare il problema ? swapparli dove è supportato segwit , anche se piu andiamo avanti piu ci sarà supporto per questo tipo di wallet .
anche LTC Nell’aprile 2017 ha attivato nella blockchain di Litecoin (LTC) il protocollo SegWit
si differenziano dal classico wallet ltc perche inizia per ltc =)

I personally only use segwit wallets since it offers many advantages over the classic standart wallets, for mobile use Trust wallet (parent company Binance) and as a ledger hard wallet.
you may encounter minor problems if you want to send btc from a standart wallet to a segwit wallet.
but no problem to do the opposite as these wallets are backwardscompatible.
how to get around the problem? swap them where segwit is supported, although the further we go the more there will be support for this type of wallet.
