Hive stands for privacy and non-ivasion, so that aspect of it means integration of ads would go against that property or characteristics of Hive. However some projects and frontend maybe have tried it in the past and it didn't really yield that much revenue

Exactly, we've talked about ads a lot of time, but it just wouldn't work because of the nature of the Blockchain
