dCrops Season Stats (CROP/SHARE and Active Players)

I like to play Hive-based games and at the same time I like to share my progress and strategies.
Today I return to share some statistics on the recently concluded season, my gaming activity, and my progress on dCrops, which is a Hive-based farming game that I've been playing since its release more than four years ago.
On dCrops, season 110 has begun, the summer that will end in 12 days and 23 hours.
There is still no news about the next event, which could be the Halloween event if the sequence of events organized last year will be followed.
Today I went on the dCrops Discord server to see if there was an announcement about the Halloween event or if there were any responses from the game creator to players' questions about the upcoming event, but I didn't find any confirmation.
If there is no Halloween event, hopefully there will be a Christmas event.
Personally, I have enjoyed all the events organized by dCrops and consider them one of the most fun parts of dCrops. I hope there will be at least two events per year.
Of course, if the Halloween event does take place, I will write a post to share my choices and strategies, as I have always done for all the past events I have participated in.
The CROP/SHARE ratio and the number of active players (Season 109)
During each season I like to use the View Last Season Leaderboard feature to get useful information about the number of active players and CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season.
Knowing the CROP/SHARE ratio related to the previous season is useful information especially for new players because this way they can have an estimate of the value in CROP they can get by using a seed-type NFT.
In fact, each seed-type NFT planted in a land-type NFT produces crops that can be sold in exchange for SHARES points, and each SHARE point earned during a season allows players to receive a prize in CROP tokens at the end of the season.
For example, NFT Kale produces 2 Kale in 6 days.
1 Kale can be sold in exchange for 7 SHARES
Using NFT Kale during the autumn season allows you to earn a total of 14 SHARES
In the season 109, players earned 0.409 CROP for each SHARE point, a slight decrease from the previous season (in season 108: CROP/SHARE = 0.438 CROP).
The gain in CROP per share point is something I consider important, which is why I will share and update this information in each of my posts about dCrops.
Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot of the CROP/SHARE ratio of season 80 but I will try not to miss the data of future seasons.

I verified that this link only works for seasons 68 and up.
Starting from season 78 I also began to keep track of the number of active players season after season.
In season 109, there were 195 active players = +3 active players compared to seasons 108 and 107.
Since I started monitoring the number of active players season after season, this is the first time I have seen the same figure in two consecutive seasons.
The current number of active players is still far from the highs recorded by dCrops, but it is still positive to see a small increase in active players rather than a decline.
In season 86, there were 282 active players, which means that over the course of the seasons, 87 players stopped playing on dCrops.

My game activity, progress and achievements in season 109.
The start of a season is when I perform the most game operations:
- I free up my land plots if they contain seed-type NFTs that did not have time to produce crops before the end of the season.
- I claim seasonal rewards
- I request new seasonal quests
- I check if I can complete all seasonal quests
- If I can't complete some quests, I use the reroll feature to only get quests that I can complete
- I plant my seed-type NFTs in my land plots.
Due to my limited free time in relation to the many games I play, I have chosen to play only in Farm mode, but dCrops has multiple game modes to choose from or play simultaneously.
To receive the seasonal reward in chests, you must complete all quests, which I did during season 109, and for this reason, today I was able to claim 15 reward chests.
In the next image, you can see what I found in the 15 Reward Chests.
I will convert the craft items into Shares points during the first future event (if there is one).
I am putting resource-type NFTs up for sale because I have chosen to play only in Farm mode, where they have no use.

For a total estimated market value of 0.87 SWAP.HIVE
Today, I put up for sale the resource-type NFTs that I accumulated through my gaming activity over the previous 5-6 seasons.
I put this type of NFT up for sale at the lowest price on the market, and if I manage to sell them, I will use the earnings to purchase seed-type NFTs to expand my agricultural production.

Season after season, the Shares point value of my inventory increases because I follow an event-oriented strategy:
- during the seasons, I only sell crops to complete seasonal sell quests
- I keep all other crops to sell them only during events with the aim of obtaining the most valuable rewards in the Event Shop.
The current value of my inventory is 40,336 SHARES.
At the start of season 109, my inventory was worth 37,628 SHARES.
During season 109, the value of my inventory increased by +2,708 SHARES.
If I had sold the crops I produced in season 109, I would have received 2708 SHARES, which would have placed me 38th in the leaderboard, and I would have received approximately 1107.57 CROP tokens: 2708 SHARES x 0.409 CROP (CROP/SHARE ratio).
I'm continuing to follow my event-oriented strategy, but if there are no more events, I'll consider changing my strategy.
In the next image, you can see the 7 new seasonal quests I've received and need to complete during season 110 (the current season).
As in the previous season, this season I have also received 3 quests that I cannot complete because I do not have Sunflower and Corn type NFTs in my NFT collection.
To be able to complete all seasonal quests, I used the Reroll feature to change the quests I highlighted in the next image.
I used the Reroll feature six times and spent a total of 60 CROP.
I wasn't lucky with the rerolls, but at least I got 7 quests that can be completed!
The last game operation I perform at the beginning of each season is to plant my seed-type NFTs in the Farm section of dCrops.
In the next images, you can see all the seeds I planted today in my 48 land-type NFTs, which contain a total of 79 plots.
Today, October 23, 2025, the value of the CROP token is:
- Highest Bid Value: 0.00177100 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0002408
- Lowest Ask Value: 0.00212000 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0002882
At the beginning of the previous season, on September 22, 2025, the value of the CROP token was:
- Highest Bid Value: 0.00185001 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0003395
- Lowest Ask Value: 0.00215000 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0003946
dCrops is a game that I like, and I will continue to promote it by publishing a post every 15 days because it is a game that has weaknesses but also many strengths, such as the various reward mechanisms (seasonal quests, seasonal leaderboard, Lucky Wheel, Holding rewards, 2-3 events per year). If there is a future increase in Hive users, dCrops could also increase its player base.

I miei risultati nella stagione 109
Mi piace giocare agli Hive-based games e allo stesso tempo mi piace condividere i miei progressi e le mie strategie.
Oggi ritorno a condividere alcune statistiche sulla stagione da poco conclusa, la mia attività di gioco e i miei progressi su dCrops che è un Hive-based farming game a cui gioco fin dal suo rilascio avvenuto più di 4 anni fa.
Su dCrops è iniziata la stagione 110, l'estate che terminerà tra 12 giorni e 23 ore.
Non ci sono ancora novità riguardo al prossimo evento che potrebbe essere quello di Halloween se verrà rispettata la successione degli eventi organizzati nell'anno passato.
Oggi sono andato sul server Discord di dCrops per vedere se c'era l'annuncio dell'evento di Halloween o se c'era qualche risposta da parte della creatrice del gioco alle domande dei giocatori sul prossimo evento ma non ho trovato nessuna conferma.
Se non ci sarà l'evento di Halloween la speranza è che venga organizzato l'evento di Natale.
A me personalmente sono piaciuti tutti gli eventi organizzati da dCrops e considero gli eventi una delle parti più divertenti di dCrops e spero che ci siano almeno due eventi all'anno.
Ovviamente se dovesse partire l'evento di Halloween scriverò un post per condividere le mie scelte e le mie strategie come ho sempre fatto per tutti gli eventi passati in cui ho partecipato.
Il rapporto CROP/SHARE e il numero dei giocatori attivi
Durante ogni stagione mi piace utilizzare la funzionalità View Last Season Leaderboard per avere informazioni utili sul numero di giocatori attivi e sul rapporto CROP/SHARE relativi alla precedente stagione.
Conoscere il rapporto CROP/SHARE relativo alla precedente stagione è un informazione utile in particolare per i nuovi giocatori perchè in questo modo possono avere una stima del valore in CROP che possono ottenere utilizzando un NFT di tipo seme nel gioco.
Infatti ogni NFT di tipo seme piantato in un NFT di tipo land produce dei crops (in-game items) che possono essere venduti in cambio di punti SHARES e ogni punto SHARE guadagnato durante una stagione permette di ricevere un premio in CROP tokens (Hive Engine tokens) alla fine della stagione.
Ad esempio l'NFT Kale produce 2 Kale in 6 giorni.
1 Kale può essere venduto in cambio di 7 SHARES
Utilizzare l'NFT Kale durante la stagione autunnale permette di guadagnare in totale 14 SHARES
Nella stagione precedente, la stagione 109, i giocatori hanno guadagnato 0.409 CROP per ogni punto SHARE con un leggero calo rispetto alla stagione precedente.(nella stagione 108: CROP/SHARE = 0.438 CROP).
Il guadagno in CROP per punto share è un elemento che considero importante ed è per questo motivo che in ogni mio post su dCrops condividerò e aggiornerò queste informazioni.
Purtroppo non ho fatto uno screenshot del rapporto CROP/SHARE della stagione 80 ma cercherò di non perdermi i dati delle stagioni future.

Ho verificato che questo link funziona solo per le stagioni dalla 68 in poi.
A partire dalla stagione 78 ho iniziato a tenere traccia anche del numero dei giocatori attivi stagione dopo stagione.
Nella stagione 109 i giocatori attivi sono stati 195 = +3 giocatori attivi rispetto alle stagioni 108 e 107.
Il numero dei giocatori attivi attuale è ancora lontano dai massimi registrati da dCrops ma è comunque positivo avere un piccolo incremento di giocatori attivi rispetto ad un calo.
Nella stagione 86 c'erano 282 giocatori attivi e questo vuol dire che nel corso delle stagioni 87 giocatori hanno smesso di giocare su dCrops.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere i giocatori attivi dalla stagione 106 alla stagione 84.
La mia attività di gioco, i miei progressi e i miei risultati nella stagione 108
L'inizio di una stagione è il momento in cui effettuo più operazioni di gioco:
- libero i miei land plots se contengono NFT di tipo seme che non hanno fatto in tempo a produrre crops prima della fine della stagione.
- faccio il claim delle ricompense stagionali
- richiedo le nuove quests stagionali
- controllo se posso completare tutte le quests stagionali
- se non posso completare alcune quest utilizzo la funzionalità reroll per avere solo quest completabili
- pianto i miei NFT di tipo seme nei mie land plots.
A causa del mio poco tempo libero in rapporto ai tanti giochi in cui sono attivo ho scelto di giocare solo nella modalità Farm ma dCrops ha più modalità di gioco tra cui scegliere o in cui giocare simultaneamente.
Per ricevere la ricompensa stagionale in chests è necessario completare tutte le quests, cosa che ho fatto e per questo motivo oggi ho potuto fare il claim di 15 reward Chests.

I craft items li convertirò in punti Shares durante il primo futuro evento (nel caso ci sarà).
Gli NFT di tipo resource li metto in vendita perchè ho scelto di giocare solo nella modalità di gioco Farm in cui non hanno utilità.

Ho messo in vendita questa tipologia di NFT al prezzo più basso presente sul mercato e se riuscirò a venderli utilizzerò il guadagno per acquistare NFT di tipo seme per ampliare la mia produzione agricola.

Stagione dopo stagione aumenta il valore in punti Shares del mio inventario perchè seguo una strategia orientata agli eventi:
- durante le stagioni in cui non ci sono eventi attivi vendo solo i crops per completare le quests stagionali di tipo sell
- conservo tutti gli altri crops per venderli solo durante gli eventi con l'obiettivo di ottenere i premi di maggior valore nell'Event Shop.
Il valore attuale del mio inventario è 40336 SHARES.
All'inizio della stagione 109 il mio inventario valeva 37628 SHARES.
Durante la stagione 109 il valore del mio inventario è aumentato di +2708 SHARES.
Se avessi venduto i crops che ho prodotto nella stagione 109 avrei ricevuto 2708 SHARES che mi avrebbero permesso di posizionarmi al posto 38 nella leaderboard e avrei ricevuto mi sarei posizionato al posto 44 nella leaderboard e avrei ricevuto approssimativamente 1107.57 token CROP: 2708 SHARES x 0.409 CROP (CROP/SHARE ratio).
Continuo a seguire la mia strategia orientata agli eventi ma se gli eventi non ci saranno più valuterò di cambiare strategia.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere le 7 nuove quests stagionali che ho ricevuto e che devo completare durante la stagione 110 (la stagione attualmente in corso).
Come nella stagione precedente, anche in questa stagione ho ricevuto 3 quest che non posso completare perchè non ho NFT di tipo Sunflower e di tipo Corn nella mia collezione di NFT.
Per essere in grado di completare tutte le quests stagionali ho utilizzato la funzionalità Reroll per cambiare le quests che ho evidenziato nella prossima immagine.
Ho utilizzato la funzionalità Reroll sei volte e ho speso in totale 60 CROP.
Non sono stato fortunato con i rerolls ma almeno ho ottenuto 7 quest completabili!
L'ultima operazione di gioco che effettuo durante ogni inizio di stagione è la semina dei miei NFT di tipo seme nella sezione Farm di dCrops.
Nelle prossime immagini puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato nei miei 48 NFT di tipo land che contengono un totale di 79 plots.

dCrops è un gioco che mi piace e continuerò a promuovere questo gioco tramite la pubblicazione di un post ogni 15 giorni perchè è un gioco che ha punti deboli ma ha anche molti punti di forza come i diversi meccanismi di ricompensa (Quests stagionali, Leaderboard stagionale, Lucky Wheel, Holding rewards, 2-3 eventi all'anno) e nel caso di un futuro aumento di utenti di Hive anche dCrops potrebbe aumentare la sua base di giocatori.
