My Frontier Progress and My First Black Foil Foundation Card!
On Splinterlands, I am an active player in all game modes except Wild Format and Tournaments.
My favorite game modes are Modern Format and Frontier Format because in these formats there are no private bots that completely ruin my fun.

In my opinion, Frontier Mode is the best and most recent addition, and the more I play it, the more I enjoy it.
In my previous post, I shared my purchase of two copies of Marlai Singariel.
I spent 1277.92 DEC = $0.89 to purchase two copies of Marlai Singariel, and thanks to this purchase, I was able to upgrade to level 2.
My decision to upgrade proved to be the right one because when I had Marlai Singariel at level 1, I was stuck in the Silver I league and couldn't advance to the Gold leagues.
On the same day that I upgraded Marlai Singariel from level 1 to level 2, I entered the Gold III league and never dropped back down to Silver I.
At the time of writing this post, I am in the Gold III league with a rating score of 2040.
Playing in the Gold III league gave me a nice boost in upgrading my Foundation cards because I started receiving chests as daily rewards instead of cards, and I also increased the number of entries for weekly draws.
After five days of playing in Frontier Format, I received several chests and made several upgrades.
I increased the level of two archons:
Thalgrimore: level 1 -> level 2
Incessant Sage: l level 1 -> level 2
I have increased the level of several unit cards.

I am especially happy to have received my first Black Foil Foundation Card in the latest weekly draw: New Beluroc Aegis.
On Splinterlands, I have always been more a gamer than a card collector because if a card is not very useful to me in the game, I prefer to sell it to buy cards that I would use frequently in battles.
I decided to put my New Beluroc Aegis BF up for sale because:
- In Frontier, I can use two level 1 archons and three level 2 archons, and even though my New Beluroc Aegis BF is level 5, I can only use it at level 3 stats.
- I have 1 Level 3 New Beluroc Aegis Regular and 1 Level 4 New Beluroc Aegis Gold Foil
- If I sell New Beluroc Aegis BF, I can use the earnings to increase the level of all my archons, thereby increasing my chances of advancing to the Gold II league.
- In the Modern Format, I have cards with better stats, so I would be unlikely to use it in battle.
So today, I put my New Beluroc Aegis Black Foil up for sale.
I conclude this post by showing my two most recent battles in which I used New Beluroc Aegis Black Foil!

I miei progressi nel formato Frontier e la mia prima Black Foil Foundation Card!
Su Splinterlands sono un giocatore attivo in tutte le modalità di gioco tranne nel Wild Format e nei Tournaments.
Le mie modalità di gioco preferite sono il Modern Format e il Frontier Format perchè in questi formati non ci sono i bots privati che azzerano completamente il mio divertimento.

Il Frontier Mode è stato secondo me la più bella e recente aggiunta e più ci gioco e più mi diverto.
Nel mio precedente post ho condiviso il mio acquisto di due copie di Marlai Singariel.
Per acquistare due copie di Marlai Singariel ho speso 1277.92 DEC = 0.89$ e grazie a questo acquisto ho potuto fare l'upgrade al livello 2.
La mia scelta di fare questo upgrade si è rivelata giusta perchè prima di poter utilizzare Marlai Singariel di livello 2 stazionavo nella lega Silver I senza riuscire ad avanzare nelle leghe Gold.
Lo stesso giorno in cui ho fatto l'upgrade sono entrato nella lega Gold III e non sono più sceso nella lega Silver I.
Nel momento in cui scrivo questo post sono nella lega Gold III con un punteggio di rating = 2040.
Giocare nella lega Gold III mi ha dato un bel boost nell'upgrade delle Foundation cards perchè ho iniziato a ricevere come ricompense giornaliere i forzieri invece delle carte e ho aumentato anche il quantitativo di entries per i draws settimanali.
Dopo cinque giorni di gioco nel Frontier Format ho ricevuto diversi forzieri e ho fatto diversi upgrades.
Ho aumentato il livello di 2 archons:
Thalgrimore: level 1 -> level 2
Incessant Sage: level 1 -> level 2
Ho aumentato il livello di diverse carte di tipo unità.

Sono soprattutto felice di aver ricevuto la mia prima Black Foil Foundation Card nell'ultimo weekly draw: New Beluroc Aegis.
Su Splinterlands sono stato sempre più un giocatore che un collezionista di carte perchè se una carta non mi è molto utile nel gioco preferisco venderla per acquistare carte che utilizzerei con frequenza nelle battaglie.
Ho deciso di mettere in vendita il mio New Beluroc Aegis BF perchè:
- nel Frontier posso utilizzare 2 archons di livello 1 e tre archon di livello 2 e anche se il mio New Beluroc Aegis BF è di livello 5 posso utilizzarlo al massimo con le statistiche del livello 3.
- ho 1 New Beluroc Aegis Regular di livello 3 e 1 New Beluroc Aegis Gold Foil di livello 4
- se vendo New Beluroc Aegis BF posso utilizzare il guadagno per aumentare il livello di tutti i miei archons aumentando allo stesso tempo le mie possibilità di avanzare nella lega Gold II.
- nel Modern Format ho carte che hanno statistiche migliori e difficilmente lo utilizzerei in battaglia
Così oggi ho messo in vendita il mio New Beluroc Aegis Black Foil.

Congratulations on that black foil. I have been playing frontier a bit more now since modern seems harder to get wins in. I did get my first gold foil rare and legendary from my battle rewards. It's interesting to see how these cards will play out.

Bellissime le carte Black Foil, ma il tuo ragionamento non fa una piega: meglio potenziare le carte che possono portarti più facilmente in Lega Oro, soprattutto considerato che giocare là aumenterà anche le tue chanches di trovare altre carte rare :)
