My Splinterlands Daily Activity: Playing, Buying, Selling and Upgrading Cards
On Splinterlands, there are many game modes to choose from or play simultaneously.
I prefer to play in game modes reserved exclusively for human players, which is why I am a very active player in Modern Format and Frontier Format.
On the Splinterlands Ranked play, season 168 is currently underway and will end in 6 days and 20 hours.
At the beginning of each season, I like to set seasonal goals, and there are three goals I set at the beginning of the current season:
- Reach the Diamond III league in the Modern Format
- Reach the Gold II league in the Frontier Format
- Play at least one tournament
In the Frontier Format, I have achieved and even exceeded my seasonal goal because I am in the Gold I league with a rating score of 2680
In Modern Format, I haven't yet achieved my seasonal goal because I'm in the Gold I league with a rating = 2580.
I am 220 rating points away from my season goal, but I still have more than six days to try to enter the Diamond III league.
To date, I have played 199 battles with a win rate of just over 50%.
To advance and play consistently in the Diamond leagues in the Modern Format, I need to increase the strength of my card collection.
To increase the strength of my card collection in the Modern Format, I need to purchase and upgrade the cards that I consider most useful in battle and that are within my budget.
My strategy for upgrading my card collection is this:
- I sell or rent out cards that I don't use in the game or that I rarely use in battles.
- I use the DEC I earn from selling and renting my cards to buy and upgrade cards that I consider most useful in battle and that are within my price range.
To get more DEC to use to upgrade my card collection, I also use the income I get from my 3 land plots and the income I get from selling a small portion of the SPS I earn by playing.

Today I put up for sale an archon that I rarely use in the Modern Format: Chuul Jujinchi, level 4.
Chuul Jujinchi is an archon that I like, but I chose to sell it for three reasons:
At level 4, I rarely use it in battle.
It would be very useful to me at the maximum level, but I would have to buy 361 BCX and spend $62.76 to upgrade it to the maximum level.
it is a summoner of the Rebellion set, which will be leaving the Modern Format in the next rotation, and for this reason I prefer to focus on summoners of the Conclave Arcana set, which will have a much longer usage time in the Modern Format.
I have decided to sell my level 4 Chuul Jujinchi for $10.14 ($0.260 per BCX), choosing this price based on the best bid on the market ($0.261).
Regarding my card purchases today, I bought:
- 6 copies of Conclave Artificer
- 10 copies of Stampeding Calf
- 20 copies of Fenmoor Wood Troll
- 18 copies of Calabash Sage
- 25 copies of Tidal Tsunamist
I purchased a total of 75 copies of cards from the Conclave Arcana set.
I used https://monstermarket.io/ to make the purchase.
I spent a total of 3296.636 DEC and received 79.11 DEC in cashback.
With the purchases I showed you, I was able to upgrade 5 cards that I often use in battles.
I upgraded Conclave Artificer: level 4 -> level 5
I made this upgrade because Conclave Artificer at level 5 gains the Lookout ability, which increases the defense potential of adjacent friendly cards, and because I often use Conclave Artificer in battle, almost always in combination with Rage.
I upgraded Stampeding Calf: level 4 -> level 5
I made this upgrade because Stampeding Calf is a card I often use when the battle rule is Little league, and the Weaken ability is very useful for weakening all of my opponent's cards.
I upgraded Fenmoor Wood Troll: level 4 -> level 5
I made this upgrade because Fenmoor Wood Troll at level 5 acquires the Headwings ability, which is very useful in battles with the Going to distance rule.
I upgraded Calabash Sage: level 4 -> level 5
I did this upgrade because Calabash Sage gains the Tank Heal skill at level 5, and I already have some combinations in mind to use in battle.
I upgraded Tidal Tsunamist: level 4 -> level 5
I did this upgrade because Tidal Tsunamist at level 5 gains the Repair ability, which is very useful in battles where I use cards that have armor points, and could be even more useful when and if I get cards with the Echo ability.
Today, I upgraded some cards of the Arcana Conclave set that I was already using in battle, and after the upgrades, they will be even more useful in battle.
In the next image, you can see my most recent battle in Modern Format, where I used one of the cards I upgraded today: Calabash Sage, level 5.
In battles that have the Going to Distance rule (only cards with ranged attacks can be used), I like to use cards that have the Headwings ability because this ability reduces the attack of enemy cards by one unit.
For this reason, I used Caravan Guard and Anachron Bolter because both of these cards have the Headwings ability = -2 ranged attack points for all enemy cards.
I placed Calabash Sage in the last position and chose to use Luceheim Demon for the Triage ability. This way, thanks to the Tank Heal and Triage abilities, I can restore the health points of the cards in the first and last positions, which are generally the cards that are attacked the most.
I won the battle mainly thanks to my two cards with the Headwings ability, but the Tank Heal ability of Calabash Sage was also very useful because it allowed Lucheheim Demon to survive in the first position until the final victory.

La mia attività quotidiana su Splinterlands: giocare, comprare, vendere e potenziare carte
Su Splinterlands ci sono molte modalità di gioco tra cui scegliere o a cui giocare contemporaneamente.
Io preferisco giocare nelle modalità di gioco riservate esclusivamente ai giocatori umani e per questo motivo sono un giocatore molto attivo nel Modern Format e nel Frontier Format.
Su Splinterlands nel Ranked play è in corso la stagione 168 che terminerà tra 6 giorni e 20 ore.
All'inizio di ogni stagione mi piace fissare degli obiettivi stagionali e sono tre gli obiettivi che ho fissato all'inizio della stagione in corso:
- arrivare nella lega Diamond III nel Modern Format
- arrivare nella lega Gold II nel Frontier Format
- giocare almeno un torneo
Nel Frontier Format ho raggiunto e anche superato il mio obiettivo stagionale perchè sono nella lega Gold I con un punteggio di rating = 2680
Nel Modern Format non ho ancora raggiunto il mio obiettivo stagionale perchè sono nella lega Gold I con un punteggio di rating = 2580.
220 punti di rating mi separano dal mio obiettivo stagionale ma ho ancora più di sei giorni per provare ad entrare nella lega Diamond III.
Fino ad oggi ho giocato 199 battaglie con un win rate di poco superiore al 50%.
Per avanzare stabilmente nelle leghe Diamond nel Modern Format devo aumentare la forza della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile in questo formato.
Per aumentare la forza della mia collezione di carte nel Modern Format devo acquistare e fare l'upgrade delle carte che considero più utili in battaglia e che allo stesso tempo hanno costi di acquisto alla mia portata.
La mia strategia per potenziare la mia collezione di carte è questa:
- vendo o metto in noleggio le carte che non utilizzo nel gioco o che utilizzo poco nelle battaglie
- utilizzo il guadagno che ottengo dalla vendita e dal noleggio delle mie carte per acquistare e potenziare le carte che considero più utili in battaglia e che allo stesso tempo hanno prezzi di mercato alla mia portata.
Per avere più DEC da utilizzare per potenziare la mia collezione di carte utilizzo anche le entrate che ottengo dai miei 3 land plots e le entrate che ottengo dalla vendita di una piccola parte degli SPS che guadagno giocando.

Oggi ho messo in vendita un archon che uso molto raramente nel Modern Format: Chuul Jujinchi di livello 4.
Chuul Jujinchi è un archon che mi piace ma ho scelto di venderlo per tre motivi:
- al livello 4 lo utilizzo raramente in battaglia
- mi sarebbe molto utile al livello massimo ma dovrei acquistare 361 BCX e spendere 62.76$ per fare l'upgrade al livello massimo.
- è un evocatore del set Rebellion che uscirà dal Modern Format nella prossima rotazione e per questo motivo preferisco focalizzarmi sugli evocatori del set Conclave Arcana che avranno un tempo di utilizzo molto maggiore nel Modern Format.
Ho scelto di mettere in vendita il mio Chuul Jujinchi di livello 4 al prezzo di 10.14$ (0.260$ per BCX) e ho scelto questo prezzo considerando la Best Bid presente sul mercato (Best Bid: 0.261$).
Per quanto riguarda la mia attività di acquisto delle carte oggi ho acquistato:

Ho fatto questo upgrade perchè Conclave Artificer al livello 5 acquisisce l'abilità Lookout che aumenta il potenziale di difesa delle carte amiche adiacenti e perchè uso spesso Conclave Artificer in battaglia e quasi sempre in combinazione con Rage.
Ho fatto l'upgrade di Stampeding Calf: level 4 -> level 5
Ho fatto questo upgrade perchè Stampeding Calf è una carta che uso spesso quando la regola di battaglia è Little league e l'abilità Weaken è molto utile per indebolire tutte le carte avversarie.
Ho fatto l'upgrade di Fenmoor Wood Troll: level 4 -> level 5
Ho fatto questo upgrade perchè Fenmoor Wood Troll al livello 5 acquisisce l'abilità Headwings che è una abilità molto utile nelle battaglie con la regola Going to distance.
Ho fatto l'upgrade di Calabash Sage: level 4 -> level 5
Ho fatto questo upgrade perchè Calabash Sage al livello 5 acquisisce l'abilità Tank Heal e ho già in mente alcune combinazioni da utilizzare in battaglia.
Ho fatto l'upgrade di Tidal Tsunamist: level 4 -> level 5
Ho fatto questo upgrade perchè Tidal Tsunamist al livello 5 acquisisce l'abilità Repair che è molto utile nelle battaglie in cui uso carte che hanno punti armatura e potrebbe essere ancora più utile quando e se avrò carte con l'abilità Echo.
Oggi ho fatto degli upgrades di carte del set Conclave Arcana che già utilizzavo in battaglia e che dopo gli upgrades mi saranno ancora più utili nelle battaglie.
Nella prossima immagine puoi vedere la mia più recente battaglia nel Modern Format in cui ho utilizzato proprio una delle carte che ho potenziato oggi: Calabash Sage di livello 5.
Nelle battaglie che hanno la regola Going to Distance (possono essere utilizzate solo le carte con attacco dalla distanza) mi piace utilizzare carte che hanno l'abilità Headwings perchè quest'abilità riduce l'attacco delle carte nemiche di un'unità.
Per questo motivo ho utilizzato Caravan Guard e Anachron Bolter perchè entrambe queste carte hanno l'abilità Headwings = - 2 punti di attacco dalla distanza per tutte le carte nemiche.
Ho posizionato Calabash Sage in ultima posizione e ho scelto di utilizzare Luceheim Demon per l'abilità Triage. In questo modo grazie alle abilità Tank Heal e Triage posso ripristinare i punti vita delle carte in prima e ultima posizione che sono le carte generalmente più attaccate.
Ho vinto la battaglia soprattutto grazie alle mie due carte con l'abilità Headwings ma anche l'abilità Tank Heal di Calabash Sage è stata molto utile perchè ha permesso a Lucheheim Demon di sopravvivere in prima posizione fino alla vittoria finale.

I'm entering more tournaments these days, I find I can enter 2 or 3 a week that will just about guarantee me a prize higher than my entry cost.
Last season I won 714 SPS for a cost of 1750 entry fees ( 7 tournaments), so not bad. I have been staking it all up to this season, now I have a new strategy.
I send any liquid SPS from tournaments and staking rewards to Hive Engine and swap half for Swap.BTC and put it in the SPS:Swap.BTC liquidity pool. Feels good to be slowly stacking some BTC from the game

Those are some nice upgrades. Your deck is getting stronger and stronger. I am more focused on foundation as I can use those cards going forward in Modern.
Yes, and in my opinion you're right because there are foundation cards of a higher level than the first one that can also be useful in modern.
