Buonasera a tutti!
Dopo un paio di giorni piuttosto complicati, che mi hanno visto lottare con l'elettronica, visto che oltre al mio precedente cellulare, che è praticamente imploso, anche il mio attuale PC ha deciso di darmi dei problemi, eccomi approfittare di un momento di calma, che ho sfruttato per una piccola passeggiata, per buttare giù queste mie poche righe dedicate al primo finale di stagione, su Splinterlands, dopo l'arrivo dei Glint e del relativo shop.
Purtroppo, come detto qui sopra, nelle ultime giornate ho avuto un po' di problemi per quanto riguarda più di un apparato elettronico tra quelli che possiedo, visto che, se inizialmente, più o meno un 15 giorni fa, mi ha abbandonato il mio precedente smartphone, è da un paio di giorni che sembra che la scheda video del mio computer si sia strinata.
Vi lascio immaginare la sfilza di imprecazioni che mi sono partite, vista la quantità di materiale che negli anni avevo stipato all'interno di quest'ultimo, ma se, come mi auguro, per sistemare le cose basterà la sostituzione di ciò che apparentemente si è rotto, non dovrei avere particolari problemi a recuperare tutto, e comunque, grazie a Firefox, e alla sua comoda, e utile, funzione, che permette di salvare tutte le password per poi sincronizzare il browser su un altro computer, attraverso l'utilizzo di un'apposito account, sono riuscito a continuare a poter lavorare sulle cose principali che sto facendo.
Tra queste, ovviamente, anche collegarmi al mondo di Hive ed a tutto l'ecosistema che vi ruota intorno, come la piattaforma sulla quale sto scrivendo in questo momento, ed i vari giochi, Play to Earn, ai quali da tempo sto giocando, come Splinterlands, che giusto oggi mi ha messo di fronte alla conclusione della prima Season nella quale non si ricevono più, come in precedenza, degli scrigni, ma bensì un certo quantitativo di Glint, il nuovo token di gioco che potremo poi andare ad utilizzare per i nostri acquisti all'interno dello shop dedicato.
Era mia intenzione, quindi, andare a parlare dei miei risultati per dare una mia valutazione, di questa novità, anche per quanto riguardava le varie stagioni, e non solo le missioni quotidiane, ma purtroppo i miei risultati sono stati sfalsati, anche in questo caso, da un mio errore madornale, che ho commesso qualche giorno fa su PeakMonster dove, nel tentativo di affittare un po' di SPS per aumentare i miei ritorni del nuovo token, ho invece erroneamente dato in gestione una parte di quelli che posseggo.
La cosa, ovviamente, ha influito in maniera negativa sui miei risultati, tanto giornalieri, quanto finali, e, di conseguenza, non mi è possibile dare una valutazione molto attendibile, visto che avrei certamente potuto ottenerne di decisamente migliori.
Evitando di fermarmi a piangere sul latte versato, comunque, i Glint da me ottenuti in questo caso sono stati più di 30.000, che, sommati a quelli racimolati negli ultimi due giorni, e da me non ancora utilizzati, mi hanno consentito di fare un po' di acquisti di un certo livello all'interno dello shop .
Come potete vedere dalle immagini che ho postato qui sopra, infatti, ho acquistato ben 10 "sorteggi" della categoria Elite, 9 della categoria Veteran, e, con i token che mi sono rimasti, altri quattro della categoria Initiate.
Le carte migliori di fronte alle quali mi sono ritrovato, fondamentalmente, almeno per i miei gusti, sono state le 3 Franz Ruffmane, evocatore raro dell'elemento vita e le 4 Pembrook Nymph, evocatrice dell'elemento acqua, seguite dalle 2 copie di Kra'ar Xoc, carta epica dell'elemento drago, Noa the Just, carta epica dell'elemento acqua, e, per finire, le 7 Madcup Magus, carte rare dell'elemento terra, e la Flinger Fungus dorata dell'elemento terra.
Sinceramente mi sarei aspettato di più, soprattutto dalla categoria più alta nella quale ho investito, anche se sono conscio che ce n'è ancora una superiore, ma non me la sono sentito di procedere ad acquisti di quel tipo perché, se probabilmente avrei avuto occasione di ricevere carte ancora migliori, la quantità delle stesse sarebbe andata, ovviamente, a diminuire.
Se durante la prossima Season mi riuscirà di accumulare quantità superiori di Glint, credo proprio che farò almeno un tentativo, per vedere che cosa mi riserverà la sorte, ma, per come sono andate le cose in quella appena conclusasi, anche a causa del mio errore di cui ho parlato in precedenza, ho preferito seguire questa strada.
Se dovessi dare una mia opinione della situazione, al momento onestamente mi troverei un po' in difficoltà, visto che ancora non so dirvi se queste novità mi piacciono realmente, oppure, visto che, se è vero che, soprattutto negli ultimi finali di stagione non è che mi fossi ritrovato di fronte a chissà che cosa all'interno degli scrigni, è altrettanto vero che non c'è stato neanche quel miglioramento che mi auguravo, ma, come dicevo prima, i miei risultati sono risultati sballati.
Vorrei tentare, inoltre, di fare, se mi riuscirà, un calcolo anche per quanto riguarda gli SPS mancanti all'appello, visto che saltuariamente capitava di trovarne parecchi, anche se solamente per questione di fortuna, all'interno di quei bauli che non vedremo mai più, bevendoci accontentare, da quì in avanti, solo di quelli che andremo a guadagnare durante le sfide giornaliere.
Se poi non sento affatto la mancanza delle pozioni, che dubito andrò mai ad acquistare, mancano all'appello anche quei Merits che ora si riceveranno solamente dai risultati che otterremo negli scontri delle Gilde, anche se, comunque di secondaria importanza.
Una situazione, quindi, che per il momento non mi è ancora del tutto chiara, e che, di conseguenza, fa sì che non mi senta in grado di esprimere un parere definitivo in merito, e ci sono, inoltre, cose che vorrei comprendere meglio, per essere in grado di esprimermi con un po' più di cognizione di causa più avanti.
Resta il fatto che questo cambiamento è decisamente molto importante, e va a stravolgere, come ho già detto, il gioco, per come l'abbiamo conosciuto finora, è, in un modo o nell'altro, dovremo farci l'abitudine per capire come sfruttarla al meglio, come, ad esempio, usando la possibilità, che effettivamente trovo abbastanza interessante, come quella di poter accumulare i token, senza utilizzarli, se magari già soddisfatti delle carte rewards in nostro possesso, per poterli sfruttare, in massa, all'arrivo di quelle nuove, riuscendo, così, a entrare in possesso, fin da subito, di una buona quantità delle stesse.

After a couple of rather complicated days, which saw me struggling with electronics, given that in addition to my previous mobile phone, which practically imploded, my current PC also decided to give me problems, here I am taking advantage of a moment of calm , which I used for a little walk, to jot down these few lines of mine dedicated to the first season finale, on Splinterlands, after the arrival of Glint and the related shop.
Unfortunately, as mentioned above, in the last few days I have had some problems regarding more than one electronic device among those I own, given that, if initially, more or less 15 days ago, my previous one abandoned me smartphone, it seems like my computer's video card has failed for a couple of days.
I'll let you imagine the string of curses that came out of me, given the amount of material that I had crammed into it over the years, but if, as I hope, the replacement of what apparently was broken, I shouldn't have any particular problems recovering everything, and in any case, thanks to Firefox, and its convenient, and useful, function, which allows you to save all your passwords and then synchronize the browser on another computer, through the use of a dedicated account, I was able to continue to be able to work on the main things I'm doing.
Among these, obviously, also connecting to the world of Hive and the entire ecosystem that revolves around it, such as the platform on which I am writing at the moment, and the various games, Play to Earn, which I have been playing for some time, as Splinterlands, which just today put me in front of the conclusion of the first Season in which we no longer receive chests, as previously, but rather a certain quantity of Glint, the new game token that we can then use for our purchases in the dedicated shop.
It was my intention, therefore, to go and talk about my results to give my evaluation of this novelty, also with regards to the various seasons, and not only the daily missions, but unfortunately my results were staggered, even in this case , from a huge mistake of mine, which I committed a few days ago on PeakMonster where, in an attempt to rent some SPS to increase my returns on the new token, I instead mistakenly gave part of those I own to management.
This, obviously, had a negative impact on my results, both daily and final, and, consequently, it is not possible for me to give a very reliable evaluation, given that I certainly could have obtained much better ones.
Without stopping to cry over spilled milk, however, the Glints I obtained in this case were more than 30,000, which, added to those collected in the last two days, and not yet used by me, allowed me to do a little ' of purchases of a certain level within the shop.
As you can see from the images I posted above, in fact, I purchased 10 "draws" from the Elite category, 9 from the Veteran category, and, with the tokens I have left, another four from the Initiate category.
The best cards I found myself in front of, basically, at least for my tastes, were the 3 Franz Ruffmane, rare summoner of the life element and the 4 Pembrook Nymph, summoner of the water element, followed by the 2 copies of Kra 'ar Xoc, epic card of the dragon element, Noa the Just, epic card of the water element, and, finally, the 7 Madcup Magus, rare cards of the earth element, and the golden Flinger Fungus of the earth element.
Honestly, I would have expected more, especially from the highest category in which I invested, even if I am aware that there is still a higher one, but I didn't feel like proceeding with purchases of that type because, if I probably would have had the opportunity to receive even better cards, the quantity of them would obviously have decreased.
If during the next Season I manage to accumulate greater quantities of Glint, I really think I will make at least one attempt, to see what fate has in store for me, but, given how things went in the season that has just ended, also because of my mistake which I spoke about previously, I preferred to follow this path.
If I had to give my opinion of the situation, at the moment I would honestly find myself in a bit of difficulty, given that I still can't tell you if I really like these new features, or, given that, if it's true that, especially in the last season finales, I don't is that I found myself faced with who knows what inside the chests, it is equally true that there wasn't even the improvement I was hoping for, but, as I said before, my results turned out to be off.
I would also like to try, if I can, to make a calculation also regarding the missing SPS, given that occasionally it happened to find several of them, even if only by luck, inside those trunks that we will not see never again, by drinking, will we settle, from now on, only with those that we will earn during the daily challenges.
If I don't miss the potions at all, which I doubt I will ever buy, those Merits are also missing which will now be received only from the results we obtain in the Guild battles, even if they are still of secondary importance.
A situation, therefore, which for the moment is not yet completely clear to me, and which, consequently, means that I do not feel able to express a definitive opinion on the matter, and there are, furthermore, things that I would like to understand better , to be able to express myself with a little more knowledge of the facts later.
The fact remains that this change is definitely very important, and will overturn, as I have already said, the game, as we have known it so far, and, in one way or another, we will have to get used to it to understand how make the most of it, such as, for example, using the possibility, which I actually find quite interesting, such as being able to accumulate tokens, without using them, if perhaps already satisfied with the rewards cards in our possession, to be able to exploit them, en masse, at arrival of the new ones, thus managing to immediately come into possession of a good quantity of them.
