La parábola de la oveja perdida simboliza la alegría que siente el Señor por un pecador que se arrepiente y vuelve al camino de la luz. Jesús de Nazaret trata de hacer entender a los fariseos y a los escribas que para Dios nadie está definitivamente perdido sino extraviado, por lo que en cualquier momento puede aparecer. Para nuestro Padre del Cielo todos somos importantes, a todos nos ama y a todos nos quiere cerca de Él. Dios no quiere perden a ninguno de sus hijos, es por eso que envió a los profetas, luego envió a su propio hijo; Jesucristo, luego al Espíritu Santo, a los apóstoles y hasta hoy sigue iluminando el camino que conduce hasta Él para que volvamos si estamos perdidos.
Muchas veces por el sufrimiento, por la ceguera, por la falta fe… no nos damos cuenta de su presencia en nuestra vida, pero el Señor no nos abandona. Él nos guía, nos acompaña, nos quiere, nos ama hasta entregar su vida.

The parable of the lost sheep symbolizes the joy that the Lord feels for a sinner who repents and returns to the path of light. Jesus of Nazareth tries to make the Pharisees and the scribes understand that for God no one is definitively lost but lost, so that at any moment he can appear. For our Heavenly Father we are all important, he loves us all and wants us all close to him. Many times due to suffering, blindness, lack of faith… we do not realize his presence in our lives, but the Lord does not abandon us. He guides us, accompanies us, loves us, loves us to the point of giving his life.
