[ENG] "Truly I tell you, if your righteousness is not greater than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
We start from the fact that the Law of God, made known to humanity by his Son, Jesus of Nazareth, is the Law of Love; for that reason, and based on that premise, Divine Justice is imparted; justice that is not just any justice but a superior one, that goes beyond rhetorical considerations, a justice that entails fear of God, compassion, pity, mercy and forgiveness.
Being a much stricter Justice than the earthly one, it is also very demanding, which is why it invites respect, cordiality, tolerance between the brothers because otherwise the court is implacable when it comes to passing the sentence:
You have heard that it was said to the ancients: You shall not kill and whoever kills will be brought before the court. But I say to you: Everyone who is angry with his brother will also be brought before the court; whoever insults his brother will be brought before the high court, and whoever despises him will be brought to the fire of the place of punishment...
The essence of today's gospel is this: Therefore, if when you are going to place your offering on the altar, you remember right there that your brother has a complaint against you, leave your offering next to the altar and go first. reconcile with your brother, and then return to present your offering. First is reconciliation, forgiveness and the supremacy of love.

Gloria a tí Señor Jesús
At that time, Jesus told his disciples: “Truly I tell you, if your righteousness is not greater than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of heaven.
You have heard that it was said to the ancients: You shall not kill and whoever kills will be brought before the court. But I say to you: Everyone who is angry with his brother will also be brought before the court; whoever insults his brother will be brought before the high court, and whoever despises him will be brought to the fire of the place of punishment.
Therefore, if when you are going to place your gift on the altar, you remember right there that your brother has some complaint against you, leave your gift next to the altar and go first to reconcile with your brother, and then return to present your gift. offering.
Make amends quickly with your adversary, while you go with him on the way; lest they hand you over to the judge, the judge to the policeman, and they put you in jail. I assure you that you will not get out of there until you have paid the last penny.
