En el evangelio del miércoles 13 de octubre de 2021, san Lucas (11,42-46) nos presenta a un Jesús de Nazaret valiente que enfrenta sin cortapisa y con mucha fortaleza la hipocresía de los fariseos y doctores de la ley, un Jesús que ayer denunció a los tartufos y hoy lo sigue haciendo, un Mesías que detesta la injusticia y enfrenta con coraje a los falsos.

In the Gospel of Wednesday, October 13, 2021, St. Luke (11:42-46) presents us with a courageous Jesus of Nazareth who faces without restraint and with great strength the hypocrisy of the Pharisees and doctors of the law, a Jesus who yesterday denounced the Tartufos and continues to do so today, a Messiah who detests injustice and courageously confronts the false.

Cuatro ayes destaca el evangelista en esta lectura. (1) “¡Ay de ustedes, fariseos, porque pagan diezmos hasta de la hierbabuena, de la ruda y de todas las verduras, pero se olvidan de la justicia y del amor de Dios! Esto debían practicar sin descuidar aquello." Aquí el Mesías dice claramente que a los fariseos hipócritas les encanta involucrarse en detalles insignificantes pasando por alto lo que realmente es importante: justicia, misericordia y fe. Hoy vemos como los medios de comunicación y las redes sociales privilegian las nuevas tendencias, muchas de las cuales tienen una alta dosis de amoralidad; y la politiquería barata enaltece, sin ningún tipo de verguenza, lo banal. Le dan cobertura a cosas irrelevantes, como la supuesta "inclusión" mientras excluyen a los excluidos de siempre, hablan de respeto e irrespetan sin piedad al mundo decente, arengan discursos a favor de la tolerancia pero son xenófobos, intolerantes y racistas, piden el respeto a la vida de la mujer mientras promueven el aborto, defienden a ultranza ideologías retrógradas y quieren imponer su "verdad sesgada" al resto de la humanidad... ¡HIPÓCRITAS FARISEOS! ¡SEPULCROS BLANQUEADOS!

Four woes highlights the evangelist in this reading. (1) “Woe to you Pharisees, because you pay tithes even on peppermint, rue and all vegetables, but you forget the justice and love of God! This they should practice without neglecting that." Here the Messiah clearly says that the hypocritical Pharisees love to get involved in insignificant details while overlooking what is really important: justice, mercy and faith. Today we see how the media and social networks They privilege new trends, many of which have a high dose of amorality; and cheap politicking exalts, without any shame, the banal. They cover irrelevant things, such as the supposed "inclusion" while excluding those excluded from it. They always speak of respect and mercilessly disrespect the decent world, they harangue speeches in favor of tolerance but are xenophobic, intolerant and racist, they ask for respect for the life of women while promoting abortion, they defend retrograde ideologies at all costs and want to impose its "biased truth" to the rest of humanity ... HYPOCRITES PHARISEES! BLEACHED GRAVES!

(2) ¡Ay de ustedes, fariseos, porque les gusta ocupar los lugares de honor en las sinagogas y que les hagan reverencias en las plazas! En este punto Jesús de Nazaret va a desenmascarar a los hipócritas, Él les quita la máscara o el antifaz a los fariseos que solo guardaban apariencias, vivían de la simulación, mientras que en su mundo privado eran corruptos, iracundos, lujuriosos, soberbios, perezosos, envidiosos, avariciosos, practicaban la gula; en fin, los mas grandes pecadores vistiendo trajes de ángeles en la Tierra; apariencia y nada mas que pura apariencia y en el fondo deshonestos. Todavía hoy, o mejor dicho, hoy mas que nunca muchos viven de la vanidad y la arrogancia, desprecian a los humildes y necesitados, solo los toman en cuenta por proselitismo político y para engañarlos con sus demagogias baratas. Les fascinan los elogios o la alabanza servil, se nutren de aduladores que enaltecen su ego olvidándose del prójimo, viven rodeados de lisonjeros de los mas rastreros que los hacen sentir magnánimos ante los humildes. En ellos no existe el amor, nada en ellos es desinteresado, todo gira en torno a su ego. ¡EGÓLATRAS HIPÓCRITAS! ¡Ay de ustedes!

(2) Woe to you, Pharisees, because you like to occupy the places of honor in the synagogues and have them bow to you in the squares! (3) ¡Ay de ustedes, porque son como esos sepulcros que no se ven, sobre los cuales pasa la gente sin darse cuenta!” En esta metáfora Jesús dice que muchas personas podían pisar esas tumbas sin querer y hacerse impuras en sentido ceremonial. Jesús denuncia que la impureza de los fariseos no se percibe a simple vista por lo que mucha gente incauta puede caer en su red de pecado sin saberlo, aquí se señala la supuesta actividad espiritual para cubrir el pecado. Hoy existen peligrosos lobos con traje de ovejas que engañan y confunden a mucha gente, embaucadores de oficio que hacen de la falacia una práctica habitual, demagogos empedernidos que avivan la esperanza de la gente humilde para luego decepcionarlos. Otra expresión que usa Jesús contra los fariseos hipócritas es "sepulcros blanquedos" La expresión sepulcros blanqueados es una metáfora que emplea Jesús en el Evangelio de San Mateo para comparar a los fariseos con sepulcros blanqueados, relucientes por fuera, pero llenos de podredumbre repugnante y vomitiva en su interior. Esta metáfora y sus variantes, como blanquear sepulcros, blanqueador de sepulcros, etc. Se sigue empleando para tachar a alguien de hipócrita, farsante, fariseo, inconsecuente con sus ideas, alguien que predica agua y bebe vino. Sepulcro blanqueado es sinónimo de ocultamiento de la corrupción. En tiempos de Jesucristo, se blanqueaban los sepulcros para que no se pasara inadvertidamente sobre ellos, contrayendo impureza según la Ley mosaica.

(3) Woe to you, because you are like those tombs that cannot be seen, over which people pass without realizing it!” In this metaphor Jesus says that many people could step on those graves without wanting to and become impure in ceremonial sense. Today there are dangerous wolves in sheep's clothing that deceive and confuse many people, tricksters by trade who make the fallacy a common practice, inveterate demagogues who fan the hope of humble people and then disappoint them. Another expression that Jesus uses against the hypocritical Pharisees is "whitewashed tombs" The expression whitewashed tombs is a metaphor used by Jesus in the Gospel of Saint Matthew to compare the Pharisees with whitewashed tombs, shiny on the outside, but full of disgusting rottenness and vomiting inside. This metaphor and its variants, such as grave-bleaching, grave-bleaching, etc. it is still used to brand someone as a hypocrite, a phony, a Pharisee, inconsistent with his ideas, someone who preaches water and drinks wine. (4) “¡Ay de ustedes también, doctores de la ley, porque abruman a la gente con cargas insoportables, pero ustedes no las tocan ni con la punta del dedo!” Dice Monseñor Enrique Díaz LINK

Desde los profetas, sobre todo Amós, Oseas e Isaías, hasta Jesús y San Pablo, todos condenan fuertemente la doble postura de quien se acerca a Dios, pero comete injusticias contra los demás; o bien de quien condena a los demás, de las mismas cosas que nosotros nos disculpamos.

El mundo está lleno de gente hipócrita, con doble moral, que aparentan ser pero no son, que mandan a otros pero ellos no van, dicen que hagan pero no hacen, falsos líderes que no aportan soluciones sino que se aprovechan del talento de otros para ellos quedar bien, imponen cargas pero no cargan nada, acusan a otros de lo que ellos son, juzgan a los demás desde su punto de vista y con justicia sesgada. Lo cierto es que nuestro Señor Jesucristo enfrentó a los fariseos de ayer y sigue enfrentándolos hoy con mucha valentía. Los cristianos no podemos ser indiferentes ni callar ante las injusticias de falsos líderes que quieren oprimir al mundo, someterlo y esclavizarlo. Jesús nos enseñó el camino de la luz, la salvación y la libertad.

From the prophets, especially Amos, Hosea and Isaiah, to Jesus and Saint Paul, all strongly condemn the double position of those who approach God, but commit injustices against others; or of those who condemn others, of the same things that we apologize for.

The world is full of hypocritical people, with double standards, who appear to be but are not, who send others but they do not go, they say they do but they do not do, false leaders who do not provide solutions but take advantage of the talent of others to they look good, they impose burdens but they do not carry anything, they accuse others of what they are, they judge others from their point of view and with biased justice. The truth is that our Lord Jesus Christ faced the Pharisees of yesterday and continues to face them today with great courage. Christians cannot be indifferent or be silent in the face of the injustices of false leaders who want to oppress the world, submit it and enslave it. Jesus taught us the way of light, salvation and freedom.

En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo: “¡Ay de ustedes, fariseos, porque pagan diezmos hasta de la hierbabuena, de la ruda y de todas las verduras, pero se olvidan de la justicia y del amor de Dios!
