Hello Splinterland Warriors!
Here we go for another week of Battle challenges with a New Ruleset of MELEE MAYHEM which means that the melee monsters will attack from any position and will target the first enemy monster with the help of the melee mayhem ruleset so the enemy monsters will use most of the melee units and here you can see the enemy team used thorn summoner which is against the melee units.

In the battle lineup, I will explain the cards which i used in this battle you can see it below with a ruleset and how i defeated the enemy team while he used one of the strongest summoners against the ruleset where i used only melee monsters and he used thorn summoner which gives 2 damage to the attacker.

Messing with the dark arts should not be taken lightly. But that was the risk that Thaddius Brood took. A curious young man fascinated by the occult, he took to casting rituals and holding dark ceremonies.Read more
THADDIUS BROOD is one of my first ever upgraded chaos legion death summoner while i already have the legendary level 2 summoner but that one is for high mana battles and also i have two level 3 summoners from beta, and untamed edition summoner but upgraded this one because of its two abilities and i sold one mimosa night shade regular summoner for upgrading this THADDIUS BROOD which i am using in my battles most of the time and it gives me a nice winning when i face the same level opponent so it work well for me all the time in both modern and wild format battles.

In the First position, i went for a legendary taunt ability monster from the untamed edition which cost 10 mana and has the flying ability with enough health, melee attack, and normal speed which will be targeted by the enemy monsters until it dies and it worked well for me here because it busy all the enemy monsters while my friendly team was busy vanishing its other monsters but as i used all melee monsters so the first enemy monster was the major target.

In the second position, i used an epic airdrop monster from the untamed edition of death Splinter which cost 9 mana and has the reach ability to attack from the 2nd position but it was a ruleset of melee mayhem so it was allowed to attack from any position and it worked well because it has enough melee attack and has high health so it worked well and gives some damage to the enemy monster.

In the 3rd place, i used another monster but a legendary one which is from the reward edition and i got almost 6 BCX of this card, and some i gave in the giveaway to the players and here i used it here because it has the shield ability which will not get high damage and also it has some cool abilities of shield, reducing melee, and immune so it worked well for in this battle.

In the next position, i went to a common monster from the old edition of reward cards which is GOBLIN MECH a neutral monster with a powerful melee attack from the first position i used it here to give high damage along with piercing to damage to the health as well the armor of the enemy monster and it worked well here for me in this battle.

Another melee attack monster with a blast ability was used here in the 2nd last position to give additional damage to the next monster with the help of its blast ability as i used it here because of its high health and speed which worked well. Recently i upgraded this card just to increase its speed and it has some missing attacks when we use it in the last position against sneaky monsters or even in the first position if the enemy monster has a slow speed.

In the last position, i used another common monster from the reward edition, especially for the sneak monsters but the enemy team did not use the sneaky monsters, and it has the thorn ability with enough armor and it can easily down 1 or 2 monsters and i am using it always in the earthquake ruleset and especially when there is not magic monster allowed in the battle then using it to give thorn damage to the enemy monsters.
