Oggi volevo condividere con voi una mia grande passione, ma prima di trattare ciò colgo l’occasione per ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno risposto al mio primo post e per la loro disponibilità e soprattutto per l’accoglienza solidale e calorosa. Sto cercando di apprendere quanto più possibile, anche se attualmente non sono molto attivo causa principale la mancanza di tempo, ma per quanto limitato cerco di ritagliare una parte per dedicarla alla mia crescita all’interno di questo nuovo mondo. Oggi però ,come dicevo prima , volevo condividere con voi una mia grande passione ovvero la raccolta degli asparagi. Ogni anno quasi come una tradizione che ormai si tramanda da molto tempo, durante questo periodo dedico parte del mio tempo alla raccolta di questo ortaggio, che nasce spontaneo sulle colline antistanti la mia abitazione. Oggi ho trascorso un paio d’ore immerso nella natura, lontano da tutte le preoccupazioni e da tutti i problemi. Nonostante ciò non sono mancati i pericoli, essendo primavera ormai da una decina di giorni, non sono l’unico che ha deciso di uscire, anche la maggior parte degli animali si sono risvegliati dal letargo, compreso i serpenti, che camuffandosi nei cespugli, rappresentano una grande insidia. Molte volte mi sono imbattuto in serpenti ma quasi tutti erano non velenosi, dalle nostre parti viene definito serpe nera, innocuo finché non si sente minacciato. Il modo migliore per sfuggire al pericolo è mantenere la calma e allontanarsi lentamente. Nonostante ciò la raccolta è andata bene, considerando che siamo solo all’inizio del periodo e ancora c’è un mese abbondante per fare delle belle scorpacciate...

Today, however, as I said before, I wanted to share with you a great passion of mine, namely the harvest of asparagus. Every year almost like a tradition that has been handed down for a long time, during this period I dedicate part of my time to the harvest of this vegetable, which grows spontaneously on the hills in front of my house. Today I spent a couple of hours surrounded by nature, away from all worries and problems. Despite this there was no lack of dangers, since it has been spring for about ten days now, I am not the only one who has decided to go out, even most of the animals have awakened from hibernation, including snakes, which disguising themselves in the bushes, represent a great pitfall. Many times I have come across snakes but almost all of them were non-poisonous, in our area it is called black snake, harmless until it feels threatened. The best way to escape danger is to stay calm and walk away slowly. Despite this, the harvest went well, considering that we are only at the beginning of the period and there is still an abundant month to make some good feasting ...
