To understand how arrogant a person can be just think of the sentence I just quoted above, we think we have been created by a deity, such is our importance in our little buggy minds; I confess that I prefer to consider myself a descendant of animals and not out of false modesty, I would simply be annoyed to have been created by a god, whatever it is.

But let's not go off topic; speaking of trust I must say that, as far as I'm concerned, I had to work hard in the past to develop it.
Surely today I trust myself in the right way; on the other hand, when I was younger I didn't struggle to trust others, but today I tend to make my assessments more carefully since, it is a proven reality, not everything "neighbor" can be trusted.
As far as arrogance is concerned, I can say that, in my opinion, it is truly one of the worst faults one can have and I could also define it as one of the worst teasing one can do; those who are haughty and too full of themselves often remain in his positions.
Non-change, non-development, leads to stagnation, which means that there is no growth.
To be better, to excel, to excel, it is necessary to evolve and have the humility to understand that we don't know everything and that there are always so many things to learn and do; I take another step further and I think that, despite becoming the best in our field, there are many fields in which we are simple amateurs therefore, if we are ambitious we will tend to improve, or at least try, in everything that is possible.
Naturally, to do this, it is necessary to completely put aside arrogance since, to become aware of not knowing, one must accept being inferior in certain fields; this inferiority will not necessarily last forever and should not necessarily be seen as a bad thing.
Suffering from an inferiority complex towards a luminary of chemistry, as far as his subject is concerned, which perhaps I only studied in high school, is not necessary, we can study and improve and, in the future, we will find out if we have managed to overcome that luminary; obviously the last example assumes that we are interested in chemistry and that our desire is to be the best in that field, otherwise we will simply focus on what interests us.
However, it remains firm that if we talk about chemistry and I am aware that my knowledge is at a school level, I will be willing to accept what a luminary or simply a chemistry university student will tell me; perhaps I didn't give the best example when speaking of something which, as a science, is resolved and has its answers that cannot be contradicted... but I think my thinking is understood, isn't it?
It's also important to keep in mind that believing in yourself is fundamental but that having too much confidence can lead to arrogance; as I always say, the best thing is to stay in the middle, right there where the virtue is.
Balance in life is something that always pays off in my view.
The suggestion given to us in the track then asks me if I have had experience with confident or arrogant people, of course the answer is yes and I have dealt with both categories; I confess that it was easier to meet the latter rather than the former.
Surely having met people who really believe in themselves and do it in a positive and constructive way has helped me and made me grow a lot; in these people you see a sacred fire that burns, the desire to make it, to be able to become the best version of themselves and, above all, the tenacity, constancy and commitment that are given precisely by the trust they have, which, moreover, , leads them to be persevering and not give up after a failure or a mistake.
Such people turn out to be excellent examples to follow.
We have always said that mistakes and failures are important for success, but I believe that self-confidence makes the difference because it leads to perseverance and therefore, after a failure, leads to trying again and again until we succeed; those who do not believe in their potential or, on the contrary, are too arrogant simply do not accept the mistake and stop after failure.

E poi ci sono gli occhi dei sensibili. Sono diversi, non solo per la quantità di luce che c’è dentro. In quegli occhi c’è rispetto, gentilezza, paura e incanto e per quanto uno cerchi di arrivare al fondo, quella profondità non ha mai fine.
Oggi sfrutterò uno degli spunti offerti da @galenkp in una passate edizione di WEEKEND EXPERIENCE, come detto nel post di quella settimana ero molto indeciso infatti, probabilmente, oltre questo andrò a pescare ancora dalle altre tracce regalate eh eh!
Ho aperto con una bellissima frase di Fabrizio Camagna ma, devo confessare, che la scelta è stata anche lì ardua e, proprio per questo motivo, ho deciso di condividere anche un aforismo di Darwin:

Veniamo ora a noi, inutile dire che la differenza tra Fiducia e arroganza è abissale; l'uomo molto spesso è dotato della seconda e non sfrutta invece la forza motrice della prima.
Per capire quanto una persona possa essere arrogante basta pensare alla frase che ho appena sopra citato, pensiamo di esseri stati creati da una divinità, tale è la nostra importanza nelle nostre piccole menti bacate; confesso che io preferisco ritenermi un discendente degli animali e non per falsa modestia, semplicemente mi starebbe proprio sulle scatole di essere stato creato da un dio, qualunque esso sia.
Sono sempre stato per la caduta degli dei quindi, il fatto che non esistano, porta a risparmiare parecchia fatica.
Non andiamo però fuori tema; parlando di fiducia devo dire che, per quel che mi riguarda, ho dovuto faticare parecchio in passato per svilupparla.
Sicuramente oggi ho fiducia in me stesso nella giusta maniera; in compenso quando ero più giovane non faticavo ad avere fiducia nel prossimo, oggi invece tendo a fare più attentamente le mie valutazioni visto che, è una realtà comprovata, non di tutto "il prossimo" ci si può fidare.
Per quel che riguarda l'arroganza posso dire che, secondo me, è davvero uno dei peggiori difetti che si possano avere e potrei definirlo anche uno dei peggiori dispetti che ci si possa fare; chi è altezzoso e troppo pieno di se, spesso, resta sulle sue posizioni.
Il non cambiamento, il non sviluppo, porta ad uno stagnamento il che vuol dire che non si cresce.
Per essere migliori, per primeggiare, per eccellere è necessario evolversi e avere l'umiltà di capire che non tutto sappiamo e che le cose da imparare e da fare sono sempre tantissime; io faccio ancora un passo successivo e penso che, pur diventando i migliori nel proprio campo, tantissimi sono i campi nei quali siamo dei semplici dilettanti quindi, se siamo ambiziosi tenderemo a migliorare, o almeno a provarci, in tutto ciò che è possibile.
Naturalmente, per fare questo, è necessario mettere da parte totalmente l'arroganza poiché, per prendere consapevolezza di non sapere, bisogna accettare di essere inferiori in determinati campi; questa inferiorità non necessariamente durerà per sempre e non necessariamente va vista come un male.
Soffrire di un complesso di inferiorità nei confronti di un luminare della chimica, per quel che concerne la sua materia, che magari io ho studiato solo alle scuole superiori, non è necessario, possiamo studiare e migliorare e, in futuro, scopriremo se siamo riusciti a superare quel luminare; ovviamente l'ultimo esempio ha come presupposto che ci interessi la chimica e che il nostro desiderio sia essere i migliori in quel campo, così non fosse semplicemente ci concentreremo su ciò che è di nostro interesse.
Resta fermo però che se parliamo di chimica ed io sono consapevole che le mie conoscenze sono a livello scolastico, sarò disposto ad accettare ciò che un luminare o semplicemente uno studente universitario di chimica mi dirà; forse non ho fatto l'esempio migliore parlando di qualcosa che, in quanto scienza, è risolta ed ha le sue risposte che non possono essere contraddette... però credo che si sia capito il mio pensiero, no?
E' importante anche tenere presente che il credere in se stessi è fondamentale ma che avere troppa fiducia può sfociare in arroganza; come sempre dico, la cosa migliore, è stare nel mezzo, proprio lì dove la virtù si trova.
L'equilibrio nella vita è qualcosa che paga sempre a mio avviso.
Il suggerimento datoci nella traccia poi mi chiede se io ho avuto esperienza con persone fiduciose o arroganti, naturalmente la risposta è si ed ho avuto a che fare con entrambe le categorie; confesso che è stato più semplice incontrare le seconde piuttosto che le prime.
Sicuramente aver conosciuto persone che credono davvero in se stesse e lo fanno in modo positivo e costruttivo mi ha aiutato e fatto crescere tanto; in queste persone vedi un sacro fuoco che arde, il desiderio di farcela, di riuscire a diventare la versione migliore di se stessi e, soprattutto, la tenacia, la costanza e l'impegno che sono dati proprio dalla fiducia che hanno, cosa che peraltro, li porta ad essere perseveranti e a non arrendersi dopo un fallimento o un errore.
Persone così si rivelano degli ottimi esempi da seguire.
Abbiamo detto sempre che gli errori e i fallimenti sono importanti per il successo, credo però, che la fiducia in se stessi faccia la differenza poiché porta alla perseveranza e quindi, dopo un fallimento, porta a provarci ancora e ancora fino a riuscirci; chi invece non crede nelle proprie potenzialità o, al contrario, è troppo arrogante semplicemente non accetta l'errore e dopo il fallimento si ferma.
Bene, a questo punto credo sia bene che mi fermi anche io visto che, come al solito, sono riuscito anche in questa occasione a sforare le 1000 parole; Ti chiedo scusa se sono così prolisso ma determinati argomenti mi appassionano davvero tanto.
