Good evening Hive, how beautiful are the waterfalls? With that emanation of energy they transmit, the power of water flowing through everything, that no one can stop, pure energy.
Of course, this effect is felt in front of those impetuous waterfalls that we all know, famous, such as Niagara Falls or Angel's Falls. Today, however I will tell you about the small Civetta waterfall, which is located in Lastebasse (Vicenza). A small corner of paradise, where the Civetta stream, which descends from the Fiorentini plateau, seems to spring suddenly from the mountain, making its way between the mountain and the wood, ending in a splendid waterfall of frozen water.
That day was full summer, I think 3 years ago, with a crazy heat, which took your breath away, so much so that even in your undershirt you melted under the sun. So we chose a cool place to spend the day and explore the area a bit with our trusty Shyla.
Once in Lastebasse, we couldn't find the way to reach the waterfall, which was hidden in the alleys of the small village, but thanks to the tips of a kind gentleman of a certain age, we found the way and headed towards the Civetta waterfall.
As we got closer, the air changed and got more and more freezing, but not cool, really freezing, until we got to the foot of the waterfall, where the cold made you shiver with 40 degrees in the shade 300 meters further downstream.
An unexpected feeling, suddenly finding yourself at a temperature probably 20/25 degrees lower and I'm not exaggerating, because believe me that after about 15 minutes, we returned further downstream to be able to warm up a bit and come back again to admire the waterfall and do some photos, because the colors and the harmony of the place had kidnapped us, despite the frost.
The water was probably so cold that it froze the surrounding air, because the Civetta stream crosses part of the mountain before flowing into the waterfall and I believe that although the outside temperatures are scorching, flowing inside thick layers of rock, the cold is such as to cool the water so much.
And me thinking about taking a bath that day, hahaha, I'd still be there in hibernation. Shyla didn't want to dive into the water either, even though she's crazy about diving, but it was too cold even for her. But she didn't get demoralized and was very happy all day for having taken her to explore a new place.
We spent a splendid day, laughing all the time, even the @giovi86 shows were not missing, as you can see, it was really beautiful, one of those carefree days, which leave you with that feeling of peace and well-being that you never want to leave, but even if we always have to return to reality, we carry with us a wonderful indelible memory.
We didn't go back this year, but I will definitely want to go and visit it again, despite everything being there, but that waterfall between moss and rock was so beautiful between its harmony, the sound of the water, which sent me so much positive energy I'll want to see it again.

Certo, questo effetto lo si avverte dinanzi quelle cascate impetuose che tutti conosciamo, famose, come le Cascate del Niagara o il Salto dell'Angelo. Oggi io invece vi parlerò della piccola Cascata della Civetta, che si trova in località Lastebasse (Vicenza). Un piccolo angolo di paradiso, dove il torrente Civetta, che scende dall'altopiano dei Fiorentini, sembra sgorgare all'improvviso dal monte, facendosi strada tra la montagna e il bosco, terminando in una splendida cascata di acqua gelata.
Quel giorno era estate piena, credo 3 anni fa, con un caldo pazzesco, che toglieva il respiro, tanto che anche in canottiera ci si scioglieva sotto al sole. Così scegliemmo un luogo fresco per passare la giornata ed esplorare un po' i dintorni con la nostra fidata Shyla.
Arrivati a Lastebasse, non trovavamo la strada per raggiungere la cascata, che era nascosta tra i vicoli del piccolo borgo, ma grazie alle dritte di un gentile signore di una certa età, trovammo la via e ci dirigemmo verso la Cascata della Civetta.
Man mano che ci avvicinavamo, l'aria cambiava e si faceva sempre più gelata, ma non fresca, veramente gelata, fino ad arrivare ai piedi della cascata, dove il freddo ti faceva tremare con 40 gradi all'ombra 300 metri più a valle.
Una sensazione inaspettata, trovarsi improvvisamente ad una temperatura probabilmente di 20/25 gradi inferiore e non sto esagerando, perché credetemi che dopo circa 15 minuti, siamo tornati più a valle per poterci riscaldare un po' e tornare nuovamente ad ammirare la cascata e fare alcune foto, perché i colori e l'armonia del luogo ci avevano rapito, nonostante il gelo.
Probabilmente l'acqua era così fredda da gelare l'aria circostante, perché il torrente Civetta attraversa parte della montagna prima di sgorgare nella cascata e credo che nonostante le temperature esterne siano roventi, scorrendo all'interno di spessi strati di roccia il freddo presente sia tale da raffreddare così tanto l'acqua.
E io che pensavo di farmi il bagno quel giorno, ahahah, sarei ancora la ibernato. Nemmeno Shyla ha voluto tuffarsi in acqua, nonostante sia pazza per i tuffi, ma era troppo freddo anche per lei. Ma non si è demoralizzata ed è stata felicissima tutto il giorno per averla portata ad esplorare un luogo nuovo.
Abbiamo passato una giornata splendida, ridendo in continuazione, non sono mancati nemmeno i show di @giovi86, come potete vedere, fu proprio bella, una di quelle giornate spensierate, che ti lasciano quella sensazione di pace e benessere che non vorresti lasciare mai, ma anche se poi si deve sempre tornare alla realtà, portiamo con noi un meraviglioso ricordo indelebile.
Quest'anno non ci siamo tornati, ma sicuramente vorrò andare a visitarla di nuovo, nonostante sia tutto lì, ma quella cascata tra muschio e roccia era così bella tra la sua armonia, il suono dell'acqua, che mi trasmetteva così tanta energia positiva che la vorrò rivedere.
