Let's check the values of the two Splinterlands tokens, the SPS and the DEC
SPS Token
On 04-13-2024 the SPS token was worth $0.01574 and was in 895th place in the Coinmarketcap ranking.
On 04-08-2024 the SPS token was worth $0.00534 and was in 1120th place in the Coinmarketcap ranking.

If we take a look at the performance over the last year, today we are at yearly lows falling even further below the $0.013 mark.
Personal considerations
The SPS token is going through a period of decline in price.
In December 2021 the token broke what until then was the minimum threshold, i.e. the $0.23 threshold. From that moment the descent began, below is a screenshot
Since January 2022, as shown in the graph, the price of the token has had a long period of decline which still persists.
Another interesting thing from a price point of view is the further decline that the token had towards March 2024. From that moment on, the descent towards new lows began which broke the support of $0.013 and today the SPS token fell to around half the value of that support. Graph shown below
From this graph we notice how since March 2024 the token began to lose value dramatically. Until May 2024 it still remained above the support of 0.013 (area with blue hatching). Then the weakening that the price had towards the end of May led to a continuation of the decline.
From Coinmarketcap data we find that the absolute minimum of the token is $0.00526 and was made on 04/03/2024. The day before writing this post.
DEC Token
On 04-13-2024, the SPS token was worth $0.00086 and was in 4695th place in the Coinmarketcap ranking.
On 04-08-2024 the SPS token was worth $0.00065 and was in 4695th place in the Coinmarketcap ranking.

If we take a look at the performance over the last year, today we are at the annual lows, falling even further below the $0.00070 threshold
Considerations
In October 2023, the DEC token touched the support of $0.00068 after which it restarted upwards. It remained above support for 6 months (blue area in the graph below), giving rise to hope. Unfortunately, in May 2024 the price did not hold up, the value of the token fell sharply, broke the support and is now below the threshold of the annual minimum.

The historic low is $0.00033, so we are still far from the historic low, but we are at low levels given that the DEC's objective is to be worth $0.001
Conclusions
The SPS token is worth $0.0053 today. A rather low value, a value that it has never had compared to the graph shown by Coinmarketcap. For those who believe in the Splinterlands project, it is a good time to buy the SPS token on its usual minimum.
Regarding the DEC token we can say that it is a bearish period, we are not yet close to the absolute minimum, but if someone believes in the project, buying DEC token now is not a bad time because its value is still quite low, I would say that its value is -50% of what it should be.

Token SPS
Il 13-04-2024 il token SPS valeva 0,01574 $ e nella classifica di Coinmarketcap si trovava al 895 esimo posto.

Se diamo uno sguardo alla prestazione nell'ultimo anno, oggi siamo ai minimi annuali scendendo ancora più sotto della soglia del 0,013 $.
Considerazioni personali
Il token SPS a livello di prezzo sta attraversando un periodo di ribasso.
A dicembre del 2021 il token ha rotto quella che fino a quel momento era la soglia minima, cioè la soglia del 0,23$. Da quel momento è iniziata la discesa, qui di seguito uno screenshot
Da gennaio 2022, come mostrato nel grafico, il prezzo del token ha avuto un lungo periodo di ribasso che tuttora persiste.
Altra cosa interessante dal punto di vista del prezzo è l'ulteriore discesa che il token ha avuto verso marzo 2024. Da quel momento è scattata la discesa verso nuovi minimi che hanno rotto il supporto dei 0,013$ ed oggi il token SPS è sceso a circa la metà del valore di quel supporto. Grafico qui sotto riportato
Da questo grafico notiamo come da marzo 2024 il token abbia iniziato a perdere valore vertiginosamente. Fino a maggio 2024 era rimasto ancora sopra al supporto di 0,013 (area con tratteggio azzurro). Poi l'indebolimento che il prezzo ha avuto verso fine maggio ha portato ad una continuazione della discesa.
Dai dati di Coinmarketcap troviamo che il minimo assoluto del token è di 0.00526 $ ed è stato fatto il 03/04/2024. Il giorno prima di scrivere questo post.

Considerazioni
Il token DEC ad ottobre 2023 aveva toccato il supporto di 0,00068 $ dopodiché era ripartito verso l'alto. Esso è rimasto sopra il supporto per 6 mesi (area azzurra nel grafico qui sotto riportato) facendo ben sperare. Purtroppo a maggio 2024 il prezzo non ha retto, il valore del token è sceso in maniera brusca, ha rotto il supporto ed ora è sotto alla soglia del minimo annuale.
Qui di seguito un grafico che descrive quanto detto sopra
Il minimo storico è di 0.00033 $, quindi siamo ancora lontani dal minimo storico, però siamo a dei livelli bassi visto che l'obiettivo del DEC è quello di valere 0,001$
Conclusioni
Il token SPS oggi vale 0,0053$. Un valore piuttosto basso, un valore che non ha mai avuto rispetto al grafico mostrato da Coinmarketcap. Per chi crede nel progetto Splinterlands è un momento buono per acquistare il token SPS sul suo minino di sempre.
Per quanto riguarda il token DEC possiamo dire che è un periodo di ribasso, non siamo ancora vicino al minimo assoluto, ma se qualcuno crede nel progetto, acquistare token DEC ora non è un brutto momento perché il suo valore è comunque piuttosto basso, direi che il suo valore è ad un -50% di quello che dovrebbe essere.

Voi cosa nei pensate dei valori attuali del token SPS e DEC? Acquistereste questi token o uno dei due in questo momento? SI? No? e perchè?

Grazie per questo confronto sul token SPS. Credo che tu abbia ragione, visto il meccanismo inflazionistico del token SPS è bene non farsi illusioni su una sua crescita esponenziale. Probabilmente salirà in futuro, ma non di molto.

L’andamento di SPS e DEC sono in linea con le attuali prospettive del gioco. Cioè ben poche. Servono più giocatori, più partite, più carte che vengono scambiate.
Fino a che le cose non cambieranno temo che bisognerà accontentarsi di questi valori.
Grazie Stewie per aver lasciato un commento. Il DEC non mi preoccupa più di tanto, ma l’SPS continua a perdere valore da mesi e mesi.
