Lovely piece - so sensuous! You are a perfectionist. I read somewhere earlier you had a problem with the stone. Glad you were able to fix it, but it sounds almost like starting over from scratch! I admire your patience, I would not have it, there are quite a few unfinished paintings back in Canada I just ripped off the stretcher. Other canvases I cut up into pieces, trying to do something with the parts that did work. Some of those pieces I brought with me to Vienna, way back when. They still are 'hanging around'.
