Today I am again here sharing my entry for the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge "RULESET: Close Range" which is offered by @splinterlands. ABOUT: Close Range RULESET:
Close Range is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which the monsters with ranged attacks are allowed to attack in the first position.

The battle rulesets were of
Close Range and Going The Distance. The allowed mana cap was 55 and three splinters summoners were active Fire, Death, and Dragon Splinter.Battle Summoner
I choose
QUIX THE DEVIOUS as a Summoner for this battle, which is a Chaos Legion edition Legendary Dragon Splinter Summoner. This summoner costs 4 mana and has two abilities(-1 range and -1 speed). I used this summoner because the battle ruleset was of going the distance so I used it and it will reduce 1 range attack of the enemy team. Under this summoner, I choose the fire splinter monster. I mostly use this summoner because under this summoner I can use other splinter monsters. I have upgraded it to level 2 in which I can use up to level 5 common cards.
1. WAR CHAANG:
In the first position, I used
WAR CHAANG which is an untamed edition melee range double attack neutral splinter epic monster. It costs 7 mana, does -2 melee, and -1 range damage at level 1. I used it in the first position because of the ruleset and this monster has a double attack type so I consider it better for the first place. Currently, I have level 1 and will try to upgrade it soon.
2. LAVA LAUNCHER:
In the second position, I used
LAVA LAUNCHER which is also a reward edition epic range attack monster from the Fire Splinter. I have upgraded it to level 3 in which its range attack increases from 3 to 4. I used it in the second position because of its Close Range ability and also because of its high-damage attack.
3. GARGOYA DEVIL:
In the third position, I used
GARGOYA DEVIL which is also a reward edition rare range attack monster from the Neutral Splinter. I used it in the third position because of its close-range attack and also giving -3 range damage. I have upgraded it to level 3 for -3 range attack and will soon upgrade it to level 4 for Deathblow ability.
4. GOBSON BOMBER:
In the fourth position, I used
GOBSON BOMBER which is a reward edition common range attack monster from the neutral splinter. It has two abilities at level 1 Recharge and Camouflage. I used it in the fourth position because of its rechargeability and will do 3x damage. Currently, I have one bcx in gold foiled version and it works fine for me.
5. ASH MIRAGE:
In the fifth position, I used
ASH MIRAGE which is a Rift edition common range attack monster from the Fire Splinter. I used it in the fifth position because it has a Headwinds ability which will reduce the range attack of the enemy team by -1. Currently, I have level 1 and will soon upgrade it to level 4 for a -3 range attack.
6. FIRE ELEMENTAL:
In the last position, I used the FIRE ELEMENTAL which is an untamed edition rare range attack monster from the FireSplinter that costs
5 mana and has blast ability with high speed. I used it in the last position because it has low HP so protects it from snipping. I have upgraded it to level 2.
