ABOUT: Noxious Fumes RULESET:
Noxious Fumes
is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which all monsters are Poisoned at the start of the game.- Units with Immunity are not poisoned.
- This is a one-time application - units that are cleansed, resurrected, or rebirthed will not be re-applied with poison.
- Enrage is triggered by Poison application.

Battle Ruleset:
There were three battle rulesets in this battle which were
Noxious Fumes, Melee Mayhem, and Knock Out
. The allowed mana cap was 46
, Fire and Life Splinter Summoners were not active in this battle.Battle Summoner:
I chose the
Zintar Mortalis
as a summoner for this battle because my active focus was of the death splinter monsters so I selected this splinter. Also, this is the only upgraded summoner of the death splinter I have and I usually use it when I am playing with the death splinter monsters. It is a beta edition Rare Death Splinter Summoner that has one ability and that is to reduce the melee attack of all melee attack monsters of the enemy team by -1. I have upgraded this summoner to level 4 and it is easy for me to win battles with it. I always love to play with this Summoner because I have experience of playing with it. Under this summoner, I can use up to level 5 common cards.
1. DARK HA'ON:
In the first place, I used
DARK HA'ON
which is an Untamed edition melee attack legendary monster from the Death Splinter that costs 10 mana and has the Flying and Taunt
abilities at level 1. I used it in the first position because of the taunt ability and all enemy monsters will attack it and my other monsters will be safer for a while. It has a high health of 13 and gives -2 melee damage due to which I used it in this battle. I used it in the first position because of its Taunt(All Enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to)) ability. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works fine for me in battles.
2. RIFTWING:
In the second position, I used
RIFTWING
which is a chaos edition common no-attack monster from the Death Splinter. It costs 4 mana and has three abilities(Flying, Scavenger, and Backfire) at level 5. I have upgraded it to level 5 for the BackFire ability. I used it in the second position because of its Scavenger ability and when it goes to the first place it will have more health. Currently, I have this monster at level 5 and it works very well for me.
3. HARKLAW:
In the third position, I used
HARKLAW
which is a reward edition Legendary melee attack monster from the Death Splinter. I used it in this battle and in the third position because of the Noxious Fumes ruleset and it has an Immune
ability which will protect from the Poison. At level 1 it has one ability Sheild
and I have upgraded it to level 2 for the Immune ability. In this battle, it didn't work well for me because the opponent had used mostly magic attack monsters.
4. PHANTOM SOLDIER:
In the fourth position, I used
PHANTOM SOLDIER
which is also a reward edition epic magic attack monster from the Death Splinter. It costs 8 mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has a Flying ability at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 3 in which its magic attack increases from 2 to 3 and also it gets the Silence ability. I used it in this battle because of its silence ability which will reduce the magic attack of the enemy team by -1 and also because of its high magic attack. Currently, I have this monster in level 3 and it works fine for me.
5. ANCIENT LICH:
In the fifth position, I used
ANCIENT LICH
which is also a reward edition legendary magic attack monster from the Death Splinter. It costs 7 mana and gives -3 magic damage along with the Life Leach ability at level 1. I used it in the fifth position because of its life-leaching ability which health will increase by 2 in each round and will be safe if poison occurs but it didn't work for me as I planned because the opponent had used Weaken ability monsters due to which it died in the very first round. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works fine me in all battles.
6. HAUNTED SPIRIT
In the last position, I used
HAUNTED SPIRIT
which is a beta edition rare melee attack monster from the Death Splinter. It costs 5 mana and does a -2 melee attack along with a Heal ability at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which its melee attack increases to 3 and also gains one more ability Reflection. In this battle, I used it in the last position because of the NOxious Fumes rulest and it has Healing
and Reflection
abilities. I mostly use this Death Splinter card in my battles because it is my favorite card that I use in the first position of the Death Splinter deck.Battle Result:
You can see my battle result in the below screenshot. The result was a draw.
Did your strategy work?
Some of the strategies worked for me and some didn't which resulted in the draw of this battle.
