Hi guys. Hope everyone is doing well today. Another week another busy day in my mother's garden. My mother is a hard-working woman she farms all this yard with different kinds of farm fruit and vegetables. Today I stayed at home with her to take care of our little garden to weed some grass for new crops to germinate well.
We do a lot of hard work before getting this garden fenced with a net and stems of trees if not the goat in our area would've destroyed most of the plants.
Our new growing crops maize and okra planted a few weeks ago before my mother come back from work and that is the second time planting the two crops in a year. The old okra leaf was already attacked by ants.
As you can see there are many fruit trees that my mother bought at the market to plant, such as Avocados trees, palm trees, pawpaw trees, and pineapple.
All the plants and vegetables here were bought and sewn by my mother. She bought plantains soakers some month back and planted them and now they are tall and one of them has already started bearing fruit.
Have you seen the different vegetables we have in the garden? We plant them simply because they look so beautiful and are eatables no need of using money to buy them in the market.
Here I would like to mention the lemongrass seen we make use of it always to made a tea so there is no need of buying from the market we take it fresh in the garden.
We plant different types of yams on one side of the farm. The Yellow Yam and Normal Yam which are not shown in the pictures i think i have exceed the maximum of ten pictures.
There is still a lot to share about our garden we have some parts we keep chicken and turkeys i will keep that to my next post.
