This week we had an interesting event, a total eclipse of the sun. I was wondering how it would affect my photos and the results are interesting. A neighbor who has seen me taking these photos stopped me one of these days to tell me about the orange moon. I didn't believe him at first but then saw some of it. It was beautiful, but nothing I can capture. I guess it was part of the eclipse.
When I was taking the photos, I did notice the sun was of a very intense red hue. That must be a sign of the eclipse. So for two days, we had these red dawns. Beautiful thing. Maybe it looked even better during the sunset. Who knows?
However, I must say that I was looking at the sun during these days. I hope it doesn't affect my sight. But you can't get fancy photos without taking a peek.

Esta semana tuvimos un evento cósmico: un eclipse total del sol. Me preguntaba cómo afectaría mis fotos del amaneceres. Los resultados fueron muy interesantes. Un vecino que ya me ha visto en esto de las fotos, me comentaba que la luna estaba naranja. No le creí hasta que vi un poco de eso. Estaba hermosa, pero no es algo que pueda capturar con un teléfono.
Cuando tomaba estas fotos, me di cuenta que tuvimos dos días seguidos de amaneceres rojos. El cielo estaba hermoso con un color muy intenso. Seguro fue durante el día del eclipse y el día siguiente. Una belleza. Quizá se veía mejor durante los atardeceres. ¿Quién sabe?
Sin embargo, me encontré viendo el sol durante estos dos días. Espero que esto no me afecte la vista. Aunque no se pueden tomar fotos así sin echar un vistazo primero.

Too much rain and clouds, here in Portugal, this week to witness this amazing natural phenomenon.
I didn't even witnessed it. It went by and then I remembered it was going to happen. 😂
I miss rain.
I have experienced to much rain my life ( especially in the 35 years in Holland ) to really miss it.
Although I have gone through a handful of months of drought, here in Portugal, in the last couple of months, so I can appreciate some rain too.
After all, it's life giving.
I bet. Rain is a cool thing. Around here it marks the end of all these dust and other thing in the air.

El rojo estaba bellísimo. Algún día que tenga una cámara mejor para que aprecien todos los colores seré feliz compartiendo más de estas fotos.

The eclipse shouldn't affect the color of the sun or moon now. Red sunrises and sunsets are usually a result of dust or air pollution if memory serves.
Maybe in country with excessive industries and fumes, but we don't have that much around here.

Yo si me percaté de la luna que estuvo roja por un par de días, traté de tomarle alguna foto, pero no tve suerte, parecía más bien un bombillo flotante jajaja 😅

Sí, todo salió muy bien con eso. Realmente, lo de la luna es un tema. Ahí si no hay cámara profesional, no hay nada que hacer.
Cierto amigo, habrá que ponerse manos a la obra para adquirir una buena cámara jeje.

Aunque yo hace unas semanas logré capturar algunas fotografías de la Luna, cuando estaba finalizando el atardecer, no son de lo mejor, pero cosiderando que las capturé con mi teléfono me agradó el resultado.
Creo que lo oportuno fue haber presenciado a la Luna antes de que estuviera de noche del todo, pues como todavía había un poco de iluminación ambiental, seguramente eso ayudó en las fotos, hice un post con las fotos hace unos días, pero aqui te dejo la que seleccioné de portada:
Se ve bastante bien. Incluso el gran en la foto le da una textura interesante.

Hay otras que tomé con un ligero zoom de x2 que permite detallar mejor la Luna.
