Aachens‘ history
Aachen, a city in western Germany, has a fascinating history. It is famous as the place where Charlemagne resided and shaped the Aachen Empire. In the 9th century, Aachen was the center of the Holy Roman Empire and the site of the first German royal coronation.
Over the centuries, Aachen witnessed numerous political and cultural changes. The city experienced the reign of various dynasties and was the scene of important historical events. I liked it very much. The city has flair and it was best excursion weather. You can feel the history of Aachen at every corner and there is much to discover. Whether it's a tour of the cathedral, a café at the Elisenbrunnen or a shopping trip through the city center, you'll find something to do.

Aachen gestern und heute
Aachen, eine mittelgroße Stadt im Westen Deutschlands, blickt auf eine faszinierende Geschichte zurück. Sie ist berühmt als Ort, an dem Karl der Große residierte und das Aachener Reich geprägt hat. Im 9. Jahrhundert war Aachen das Zentrum des Heiligen Römischen Reiches und Austragungsort des ersten deutschen Königskrönung.
Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurde Aachen Zeuge zahlreicher politischer und kultureller Veränderungen. Die Stadt erlebte die Herrschaft verschiedener Dynastien und war Schauplatz wichtiger historischer Ereignisse. Ihre geografische Lage nahe der Grenze zu Belgien und den Niederlanden machte sie zu einem Knotenpunkt für den Handel und kulturellen Austausch.
Ein herausragendes Zeugnis aus der Vergangenheit ist der Aachener Dom, ein UNESCO-Welterbe und eines der bedeutendsten Bauwerke der Karolingerzeit. Seine Mischung aus römischer, ottonischer und gotischer Architektur macht ihn zu einem architektonischen Juwel.

Super Ausflugsziel
Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die Stadt hat Flair und es war bestes Ausflugswetter. Man spürt die Geschichte von Aachen an jeder Ecke und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Ob Rundgang im Dom, Café am Elisenbrunnen oder Einkaufsbummel durch die Innenstadt, es findet sich was zu tun.

Kleiner Tipp: Bei dem ersten Foto, gehe doch 10 Schritte nach vorne und nimm´ dann den wunderschönen Dom auf. Dann hast Du nicht die (für mich) störenden LKWs als Blickfänger.

This city is very beautiful as we can see in the pictures that there are many special places inside it which are old and by seeing the old place one gets to learn a lot and one gets a lot of happiness. It is happening.
