Today May 10 is celebrated the day of Afrovenezolanidad, which commemorates the history, battles of all our ancestors, therefore, this day highlights, celebrates and embraces our culture, religion and our being.
Today I was able to give a braid workshop at the Estancia in Altamira, this is a cultural center where they constantly carry out activities promoting art and culture, it was an enjoyable afternoon where I had two participants each with their own model, I spoke to them a little about the history of braids as well as I gave them several braiding techniques, I felt very excited for their participation and in turn see how they understood and understood the whole class, I think I will do this more often, this allows me to meet and interact with many more people which I like very much, here I leave some photos portraying the moment of the class

Hoy 10 de Mayo se celebra el día de la Afrovenezolanidad, por lo cual conmemora la historia, batallas de todos nuestros ancestros, por ende, en este día se resalta, celebra y se abraza nuestra cultura, religión y nuestro ser.
La causalidad me permitió hoy dar un taller de trenzas en la Estancia en Altamira, este es un centro cultural en donde constantemente realizan actividades promoviendo el arte y la cultura, fue una tarde amena en donde tuve dos participantes cada una con su modelo, les hable un poco sobre la historia de las trenzas al igual que le di varias técnicas de trenzado, me sentí muy emocionada por su participación y a su vez ver como comprendieron y entendieron toda la clase, creo que esto lo haré más seguido, esto me permite conocer e interactuar con muchas más personas lo cual me gusta mucho, acá les dejo algunas fotos retratando el momento de la clase.
