I went to the stadium today to watch my neighborhood football team, Sariyer. Sariyer finished first in the Turkish Football Second League last year. They're competing in the first league this year.
I'd never been to a Sariyer football team match before this year. My home is near the stadium. I used to watch my team's matches live on TV. When a goal was scored, the fans' voices would come through 10 seconds before the TV, making it less enjoyable.
So I had to go to the match. My team has made a lot of new signings this year, but they're struggling in the standings. We had to win this match.
Because it was Saturday afternoon, not many fans showed up. We still supported our team.
We missed many scoring opportunities. The match, which we should have won, ended in a 0-0 draw.
This will be the first night match in two weeks. I'm planning to go to this match too. I hope we can continue our run of wins.
