I present to you a Cuban reverberatory. This device is a cooking stove. Alcohol was added and a flame was lit and the pot was placed on top. Last century in Cuba, in almost a large part of the educational levels, students were in schools with scholarships and when their relatives went to visit them they brought a reverberatory to cook them the food they brought from home. During the special period in Cuba, the time of the 90s where the Cuban economy entered into a severe economic crisis after the fall of the socialist camp, there were blackouts almost all day and many people lit this flame for light and almost always used bright light as fuel. a type of Quero seno very popular here. Currently, almost the entire country cooks with liquefied gas, but many who still cannot access this service continue using this method to cook when there is no electricity.
