En un viaje hecho al Tolima Colombia con un grupo de amigos pasamos por este lugar, un municipio llamado Armero dónde solo quedan ruinas de debido a una catástrofe en 1985, en dónde el volcán nevado del Ruiz hizo erupción, y junto con sus 6 ríos que pasan por allí se formó una avalancha que lo cubrió, dejando 20.000 personas muertas y dónde una niña llamada Omaira sobrevivió 3 días entre el lodo y escombros, y a quien no se podia sacar del mismo puesto que su cuerpo se podría desprender en dos partes. A los ciudadanos ya se les había advertido de abandonar el lugar en muchas ocasiones, sin embargo hicieron caso omiso y por tal motivo perdieron su vida. Parte del hecho también se lo atribuyen a un sacerdote de la época, el padre Pedro Maria Ramírez, el cual fue asesinado a machetazos por los ciudadanos del municipio por fines políticos en el año 1948 y que quién con su último aliento hecho una maldición diciendo " No quedará piedra sobre piedra sobre Armero". Muchos familiares de los lugareños aún los siguen buscando y la energía en el lugar se siente pesada, inclusive se habla de actividad paranormal en las noches.

On a trip to Tolima Colombia with a group of friends we passed by this place, a town called Armero where only ruins remain due to a catastrophe in 1985, where the Ruiz volcano erupted, and along with its 6 rivers that pass through there an avalanche was formed that covered it, leaving 20,000 people dead and where a girl named Omaira survived 3 days in the mud and debris, and who could not be removed from it since her body could be detached in two parts. The citizens had already been warned to leave the place on many occasions, but they ignored the warning and lost their lives as a result. Part of the fact is also attributed to a priest of the time, Father Pedro Maria Ramirez, who was murdered with machetes by the citizens of the municipality for political purposes in 1948 and who with his last breath made a curse saying "No stone shall be left upon a stone in Armero". Many relatives of the locals are still looking for them and the energy in the place feels heavy, there is even talk of paranormal activity at night.
