Things in the grow tent are moving along quite nicely and we will be seeing some nice stretching going on in the tent over the next week or two. These ladies are all showing signs of preflower, so I decided it was time to cut the main stems on all of them and do a little bit of training to pull some of the lower branches down and away from the stem.
The gorilla glue is winning the race at being the tallest at the moment, but don't let the size fool you on the smaller ones. They are full of branches and will really take off once they hit their growth spurt. I cut the off the branches on the third node of the bubblegum and northern lights to open things up a bit and allow some light to the lower branches. I had planned on removing at least one more set of branches from them anyways, so I figured today would be a good day to do it so the plants don't waste any energy on growing them any further.
I have been spraying the plants down with water a couple times a day and the plants really seem to like it. I figure that having some simulated rain water on the leaves is a good thing for them before they get their buds. My gnat problem seems to be under control as well since I didn't really see any gnats today while I was in there working. I am going to continue to spray the pots down daily with the Dr Zynes and drench the soil with it once a week to keep any mold in the soil away or to kill off any insect eggs that may have been dropped in there.
I am expecting the first sets of buds to start appearing within the next two weeks, so that should be pretty cool. I am excited for the gorilla glue since I have never grown it. It will also be nice to have a stash of northern lights because that one is a great body relaxer.

Ah yes tie them down they said, they will be lower they said :) Somehow my dad loves them high ;) Still remember a day when police came to chop my father's plants with their gardening scissors. After an unsuccessful attempt, we borrowed police a chainsaw because the biggest one had about 5 meters. And that's not all, they used a small car trailer so the tops of the plants were sliding on the road. When they got to the police station they lost probably a third of yield. However, on the court, the number of grams was so low, lol. Thanks to goofy police.
5 meters tall is crazy, lol. I bet he was growing photoperiods. Those tend to be a lot larger than the autos I am growing. Mine are more for a quick turnaround, but photos are the way to go when you want a massive harvest.

You are growing a weed, it looks like hemp. Gnats are a very annoying problem, I had planted an Indian chili plant, it was severely damaged by gnats.
