I used to play beside a coconut tree when I was young. Coconut trees are everywhere around our home as well. When I see a coconut tree, it always makes me feel refreshed and at home. I always get some fresh buko juice whenever I get the chance to visit the province. I have many fond memories of gathering buko from the coconut tree with my cousins and family. Since I have moved so far from our province, I often yearn for the everyday days I used to have.
If I ever get my own home, I’ll absolutely build it in the province with coconut trees all around it. I will always feel comfortable, at ease, and young with this.
