Looking up photos of apartment (HDB) buildings

in Liketu11 months ago

How many times do you look up at a tall building? Probably... never, right? That's why one of the interesting subjects of photography is looking up at a tall building because it will be an interesting photo for sure. Of course it also depends on the design of the building but in my opinion experience most of the pictures I get have a dynamic appeal.

So every time I have the opportunity to photo walk under the tall apartment buildings I don't waste time; I will take as many as I can and then select the ones that interest me the most.

The best part of the experience is that I can use my phone to take the photos and the quality is still great. The lines are sharp and the contrast is really good especially when I convert it to a black and white version. I also use my phone to edit the photos using the mono or noir filter. I rarely use the silvertone filter effect because the result comes with a blue tint on it.

These photos show apartment buildings or commonly known as HDBs at Kovan and Woodlands area.
