I hope you are well today😘. Yesterday, I had a tour around Cumaná where my partner and I went to the Castillo de la Eminencia located in Cumaná, Sucre State. This due to an activity of cultural and artistic diversity for a subject called Accreditable Activities which according to the curriculum is an activity as recreation or distraction before all the strong subjects that we are seeing.
Well, in that activity we had to do a photo shoot where we would choose a specific place or theme since our teacher would do a separate activity with those photos. At first it seemed very boring to us to do this session because the historical monuments are very far from our homes, however, and with the help of my partner we undertook the trip to the Castle.
I chose the Castle of San Antonio de la Eminencia because it is a cultural diversity very rich in history and reminds us of the richness of the past that still remains in our Cumanés identity. This castle is a fortification built in the 17th century as a defense in the city against pirate attacks and enemies. It stands out for having that military style architecture of the colonial era as it has thick walls of limestone blocks and fossiliferous sandstone from the various hills found in Cumana.
A curious fact that I found out while researching is that General José Antonio Páez, the former president of Venezuela, was imprisoned in this castle. Imagine, I didn’t know anything about that. In addition to the fact that it had secret passages which were disabled, surely to hide a treasure or something like that, who knows; what I do know is that the view is really very beautiful, you can enjoy panoramic views of Cumana and the Caribbean Sea which becomes an ideal place to appreciate the beautiful sunsets that are observed and create is ata primogenita. Currently as you can see in the photos this castle remains intact plus the maintenance that has been done. At least something has been done to keep this historical heritage intact in the first born of the country.
I enjoyed touring this castle and love a little more the cultural diversity that is found in my state. A good trip that I will always remember with gratitude. I hope to do it again but to observe the beautiful sunsets that are sure to be created.

Espero se encuentren bien el día de hoy😘. Ayer, tuve un recorrido por los alrededores de Cumaná donde mi pareja y yo fuimos al Castillo de la Eminencia ubicado en Cumaná, Edo. Sucre. Esto debido a una actividad de Diversidad cultural y artística para una materia que se llama Actividades Acreditable la cual según el pensum es una actividad como de recreación o distracción antes todas las materias fuertes que estamos viendo.
Bueno, en esa actividad teníamos que realizar una sesión fotográfica en donde se escogeria un lugar o tema específico ya que nuestra profesora realizará una actividad aparte con esas fotos. Al principio a nosotros nos pareció muy aburrido realizar esa sesión porque los monumentos históricos quedan muy lejos de nuestras casas, sin embargo, y con ayuda de mi pareja emprendimos el viaje hasta el Castillo.
Elegí el Castillo de San Antonio de la Eminencia debido a que es una diversidad cultural muy rica en historia y que nos recuerdan la riqueza del pasado que aún perdura en nuestra identidad Cumanés. Este Castillo es una fortificación construida en el Siglo XVII como defensa en la ciudad ante ataques piratas y enemigos. El mismo se destaca por tener esa arquitectura de estilo militar de la época colonial ya que posee gruesos muros de bloques de caliza y arenisca fosilífera de los distintos cerros que se encuentran en Cumaná.
Un dato curioso que conseguí investigando es que en este castillo estuvo preso el general José Antonio Páez, quien fuera presidente de Venezuela. Imagínense, yo no sabía nada de eso. Además de que el mismo tenia pasadizos secretos de los cuales lo inhabilitaron, seguro esa para ocultar un tesoro o algo así, quien sabe; lo que sí sé es que la vista es realmente muy hermosa, se pueden disfrutar de vistas panorámicas de Cumana y el Mar Caribe el cual se convierte en un lugar ideal para apreciar los hermosos atardeceres que se observan y crean es ata primogénita. Actualmente como pueden ver en las fotos este castillo se mantiene intacto más el mantenimiento qué le han realizado. Al menos se ha hecho algo por mantener este patrimonio histórico intacto en la primogénita del país.
Me gustó realizar este recorrido por este Castillo y amar un poco más la diversidad cultural qué se encuentra en mi estado. Un buen viaje que siempre recordaré con gratitud. Espero volver a hacerlo pero para observar los atardeceres tan hermosos que seguro se crean.
