It was an extraordinary Sunday and church day today too!
Sundays are always the day of the week which I lookk forward to, because we get to go to church to worship and also to see friends as well. The husband led a very good and powerful worship in church today and then the apostle of the church who is also my father-in-law blessed all the children in church as well.
After all that, the mothers and some fathers as well went up to the first floor where children usually play. Today is a special occasion when my friend and her daughter's birthday coincide with another friend's daughter. So my friend being diligent and wanting to celebrate with us, cooked up a super delicious simple meal for the children and adults. She prepared very delicious spiral pasts cooked with slbolognese that she made from scratch and a super yummy refreshing salad with apples and oranges. I love the salad so much!
We had some celebration with a little decoration and her husband bought in a cake. We then sang and blessed them with a prayer led by @josephinengpy7. It was so much joy and bliss (and noise) too. Getting all the children present to take a group photo was the BIG project. Today the attendance is more than the usual Sundays and also you know when all were positioned, one may sneak away so we needed a few attempts to get it done, phew!
Finally birthday sons were sung and the children happily ate their food together. It was a party and there were snacks too after that, asides from the birthday cake. Took a photo with the birthday girl and then later with my friend at our lunch place, who put in so much effort for her daughter's and her own birthday actually.
Blessing all the birthday girls with the joy of the Lord and new grace as a new year of their lives commences!
