Hello, Hivers! Life in the countryside is very therapeutic for me. As someone who works in the city for years now, it gives me so much joy everytime I get the chance to visit our humble home in Argao, Cebu, Philippines.
Argao is a town in the Southern part of Cebu, Philippines that's around 2-3 hours travel (depends on the traffic haha) from the city. Now, I'm gonna take you to our afternoon stroll with my cousin & grandmother at Don Gil Boulevard in Argao, Cebu. This place is just located in front of Argao Nature's Park wherein there are a lot of food stalls available during the afternoon until night time.
This has also a playground wherein you could chill with your family and let your kids play while enjoying a great view. We bought some street food and just enjoyed our time here. I was so happy seeing my Lola having a great time. Whenever I'm home, I always make sure to spend some quality time with my family most especially with my grandmother. My grandmother is not getting any younger and I just want to make sure she's happy.
My cousin enjoyed this afternoon stroll as well. She's from Camotes Island and just here for a vacation so I really made sure to show her around before she goes back to Camotes and before I go back to the city for work.
When it's almost late, we decided to leave the place and went home with all smiles in our faces. This afternoon stroll with my loved ones is priceless. I thank the Lord for the gift of life and family. I thank God for blessing me with an amazing hometown with so much to offer.
