World's tallest totem pole
Located in Beacon Hill Park in Victoria BC Canada.
Such an amazing totem pole to see in person. It was built in 1956
by a team led by the Kwakiutl tribal chief, Mungo Martin.
Not sure how much loger it will stand as I read Totem poles
last around 50 years before they have to be restored or taken down
completely.

It's tall!! I think 133 feet tall. :)
Teen Wolf reminds me of Beacon Hills or is it a different one? 66 years now and the totem pole still look like it's in a good shape.
Different one. Yes the pole looks great. It was repaired and touched up around 10 years ago.
Oh okay, thanks. Now I understand why it is still looking great.
You're very welcome. :)
