As you can see it doesn't take much
That happiness, it will be beautiful
ok, lining it wasn't that easy 😅
take your time with the edges and corners
Today I am going to tell you about the idea that occurred to me to give a modern look to a piece of furniture that was going to be thrown away, in fact 2 pieces of furniture, but I still haven't decided what I am going to do with the other one. The truth is that I love to recycle and restore, I feel that if we all did it, the world would be different, starting with global warming.
As you can see, it is a rather old-fashioned piece of furniture, but I only saw potential.
Materials:
. Wooden furniture
. Wallpaper/contact paper
. Scissors
. Cold paint (optional)
. paintbrush (optional)
Realization:
In this project I used 2 and a half rolls of wallpaper, each roll cost $2 at shein.com.
I covered the furniture like someone who covers a notebook. They must be careful as this wallpaper is extremely thin and breaks very easily. It also adheres excellent to walls and ceramics.
I must admit that it was not very easy for us to say because I have centuries without covering a notebook.
With the blunt end of the scissors I made sure to insert the paper well: Tip: if you want a more psychedelic finish, you can line it on the inside with paper of another color.
Finally I painted the wicker part with white cold paint. This step is already a matter of personal taste.
Super tip: you can always buy wallpaper in El Castillo stores or use contact paper. I personally find that contact paper is very thick and most of it is shiny and I wanted a matte finish.
Thanks for reading me 💕 All these photos were taken by me with my Android Infinix note 10 and edited in canva app
