My daughter and I prepared to say goodbye to the year in the best possible way. We headed to my parents' house, where family and friends were gathering to spend the last day of the year together.

The house was full of laughter, hugs and the hustle and bustle of everyone talking at the same time. My parents, my grandfather and close friends, we were all there, sharing that unique moment that only family togetherness can bring. We were all together and that was what mattered.
We decided to prepare a meal to share, impossible to celebrate the end of the year without a meal. The smell of the food from the kitchen whetted our appetites and reminded us that we were about to enjoy a real holiday.
The food was not only delicious, but also a reflection of the connection and love we shared. Each dish had a special touch, a story behind it, and that made the evening even more memorable. Sharing that feast with the people I love the most, makes this moment memorable.
La casa estaba llena de risas, abrazos y el bullicio de todos hablando al mismo tiempo. Mis padres, mi abuelo y amigos cercanos, todos estábamos ahí, compartiendo ese momento único que solo la unión familiar puede brindar. Todos estábamos juntos y eso era lo que importaba.
Decidimos preparar una comida para compartir, imposible celebrar el fin de año sin una comida. El olor de la comida desde la cocina nos abría el apetito y nos recordaban que estábamos a punto de disfrutar de una verdadera festividad.
La comida no solo estaba deliciosa, sino que también era un reflejo de la conexión y el cariño que compartimos. Cada plato tenía un toque especial, una historia detrás, y eso hizo que la velada fuera aún más memorable. Compartir ese banquete con las personas que más quiero, hace que este momento sea memorable.
Laughter and shared stories filled the evening. We recalled past moments, celebrated the year's achievements and toasted to what is to come. There was no room for worries or stress, just to enjoy the company of loved ones and celebrate life.
