While it's OK to recall the past, it's important that we focus on the present. By the time we realize that we spent too much time focusing on yesterday, today is gone and gone forever. Then what do we have to show for the "today" which became the most recent "yesterday"?
Will Rogers said it better, which is why I quoted him this time.
Who Was Will Rogers?
William Penn Adair Rogers-- not to be confused with either Will Smith or Roy Rogers-- was born in Cherokee Territory, US in 1879-November-4. Today his birthplace is known as Claremore, Oklahoma, US.
He died in 1935-August-15 as a result of a plane crash in Point Barrow, Alaska.
Will Rogers spent most of his life as an entertainer in stage, radio, and film. He is also famous for his quick-witted social commentary and observations on the politics of his day.
