Desde que entré a Hive y empecé a maquillarme, siempre quise realizarme un maquillaje con temática arcoiris... Amo los colores de esta bella creación de nuestro Dios. Sin embargo, han pasado 3 años y no lo había intentado siquiera una sola vez...
Por lo que hoy me animé. ¿La verdad? Pensé que la dificultad sería mínima, jajajaja. Nada más lejos de la realidad, este maquillaje literalmente me comió.
Siento que las sombras no me ayudaron del todo, tienen una pigmentación estupenda, pero a la hora de difuminarlas, se desaparecen. Entonces, había que ligarlas con base o corrector para una textura más cremosa y así dar la apariencia uniforme, pero... 🥹 No quería nada cremoso en la cara 🙈.
Por lo que igual me arriesgue a usarlas en polvo... Así que les cuento un poco mi nefasto proceso 😁.
Por cierto... Al final del Post les contaré porque no me lave la cara, aún cuando el resultado no me gustó en lo absoluto.
PROCESO
Inicie dándole orden a mis cejas, aprender a peinarlas a sido una gran ventaja. Ya no ando esclavizada a depilarlas constantemente... Bueno, en lo personal, me gustan así.
Luego de aplicar el protector solar, tomé un lápiz blanco y delimite la zona que llenaría de color.
Como 3er paso, me coloqué algo de base para acentuar más los tonos de las sombras.
Hasta este punto, todo se veía bonito 😁.
Ever since I joined Hive and started doing makeup, I always wanted to do rainbow themed makeup.... I love the colors of this beautiful creation of our God. However, it's been 3 years and I haven't tried it even once... So, today I've decided to go for it.
So today I took the plunge, the truth? I thought the difficulty would be minimal, hahahaha. Nothing further from the truth, this makeup literally ate me.
I feel that the shadows didn't help me at all, they have a great pigmentation, but when it's time to blend them, they disappear. Then, you had to bind them with foundation or concealer for a creamier texture to give the even look, but.... 🥹 I didn't want anything creamy on the face 🙈.
So I still took the risk to use them in powder form..... So I tell you a little bit about my nefarious process 😁.
By the way... At the end of the Post I'll tell you why I didn't wash my face, even though I didn't like the result at all.
PROCESS
I started by tidying up my eyebrows, learning how to comb them has been a great advantage. I'm no longer a slave to plucking them constantly.... Well, personally, I like them that way.
After applying the sunscreen, I took a white pencil and outlined the area that I would fill with color.
As a 3rd step, I applied some foundation to further accentuate the shades of the shadows.
Up to this point, everything looked pretty 😁.
Luego... Empezó el ejercicio de la confianza jajajaja... Confiabamos en que saldría como lo imaginamos.
Empecé con el color rojo... Luego naranja, amarillo, verde, azul y posteriormente morado. Al llegar al morado... Quería salir corriendo a lavarme la cara, pero pensaba en... El material que ya había gastado, en las horas que llevaba de pie haciendo esta máscara 😂... Entonces, dije... Quizá con unos cuantos retoques consiga cambiar un poco la apariencia 😁.
Y en efecto así fue, delinee mis ojos interna y externamente, rize mis pestañas apliqué muchas capas de rímel, también delinee los labios y apliqué un morado diferente para crear contraste.
Me arreglé el cabello, coloqué unas motitas de algodón para crear el efecto de nubes... (Aunque esas nubes estaban pobres jajajaja) 🤣. Y walaaa... Sonreímos a la cámara!
Aunque igual me seguía sintiendo extraña con este maquillaje abstractamente artístico, con estos arreglos quedó mucho mejor que al inicio.
Then... The trust exercise began hahahaha.... We trusted that it would turn out as we imagined.
I started with the color red... Then orange, yellow, green, green, blue and then purple. When I got to purple... I wanted to run out and wash my face, but I was thinking about.... The material I had already spent, in the hours I had been standing making this mask 😂.... So, I said... Maybe with a few touch-ups I'll manage to change the look a bit 😁.
And indeed I did, I lined my eyes internally and externally, curled my lashes applied many coats of mascara, I also lined my lips and applied a different purple to create contrast.
I did my hair, I put some cotton balls to create the effect of clouds.... (Although those clouds were poor hahahaha) 🤣. And walaaa.... We smiled at the camera!
Even though I still felt weird with this abstractly artistic makeup, with these fixes it looked much better than it did at the beginning.
Quizá habría sido más cómodo lavarme la cara y olvidar el maquillaje por completo, sin embargo... ¿Qué perdía con intentar remediarlo?
Está pequeña experiencia me arrojo una lección, y es que... Muchas cosas a veces son como este maquillaje, no le vemos ni patas ni cabeza, pero con un poco de paciencia es posible remediar la situación y darle otra dirección, quizá no la que esperamos, pero si una mucho mejor que la del inicio 🌈💄✨.
Perhaps it would have been more comfortable to wash my face and forget the makeup altogether, however.... What did I lose by trying to remedy it?
This little experience taught me a lesson, and it's that... Many things sometimes are like this makeup, we see neither legs nor head, but with a little patience it is possible to remedy the situation and give it another direction, maybe not the one we expect, but a much better one than the one at the beginning 🌈💄✨.
