My father was born on a February date that only comes every four years, so on many occasions we celebrated his birthday on either February 28th or March 1st, depending on whether we had his gift ready or not, hehe.
He always had a good time, he would dance until he was tired, but he couldn't dance properly; he had two left feet. That was no obstacle to celebrating.
On that date, he would drink and dance until he dropped, and he was happy with any gift.
He was very generous and an exemplary father; I never heard him insult or mistreat my mother. He was a role model as a husband. Despite being illiterate, he was very demanding with his daughters regarding our studies, but the results weren't what he had hoped for.
I could always count on him for every problem I faced, no matter how small. He was my mother's partner until he left this beautiful world. I miss him every day, every month, every year. He will always be with me; I will never forget him because he was an example. There are many courageous fathers, and mine was one of them; I am proud of him.

Mi padre nació en una fecha del mes de febrero que ocurre cada cuatro años, por eso, en muchas ocasiones, celebrabamos su cumple lo mismo el 28 de febrero que el 1 de marzo, en dependencia de si ya teníamos el regalito listo o no, jjj.
Él siempre lo pasaba alegre, bailaba hasta cansarse pero no sabía dar un paso, tenía los dos pies izquierdos, eso no era impedimento para celebrar.
En esa fecha tomaba y bailaba hasta caer rendido y con cualquier regalo se conformaba.
Era muy compartidor y un padre ejemplar, nunca lo escuché ofender o maltrar a mi madre, fue un ejemplo como esposo. A pesar de ser analfabeto fue muy exigente con sus hijas en cuanto a los estudios, pero esos resultados no fueron como el quería.
Siempre pude contar con él para todos los problemas que se me presentaron, hasta el más mínimo. Fue la pareja de mi madre hasta que abandonó este hermoso mundo. Lo extraño cada día, cada mes, cada año. Siempre estará en mí, nunca lo olvidaré porque fue un ejemplo. Hay muchos padres valerosos y el mío fue uno de ellos, estoy orgullosa de él.
