Today I bring you a nature adventure that I never thought to find in the city....recently visiting my father-in-law's house, in the area of "Cojimar" in the city of "Havana", I find something unexpected, my wife hears a loud and sudden sound in a tree very close to the house and she asks me, a little scared, what would that sound be? I grew up in the countryside and for me it was a very familiar sound...I quickly went with her and my cell phone to try to locate that beautiful wood knocker that we have here in Cuba, and that I had not heard for such a long time, and indeed when I looked up I found a nice pair of Royal Woodpecker chicks, it gave me much joy and satisfaction because they have very fast movements with their head, at the time I could take the pictures they were eating something they found under the flowers that you can see in the pictures and of course they made many flowers fall to the ground.But the one who enjoyed it the most was my wife because she had never had the opportunity to see these beautiful creatures in the wild.
Well I hope you enjoy the images and I apologize for the quality of the images as my cell phone is a modessto Redmi9A, but I think at least I captured the essence of the moment.
