El rabipelado se asoma en la noche, recordándonos que incluso lo pequeño tiene su lugar.
Y el venado, con sus pasos suaves, parece bailar con la tierra que lo vio nacer.
Más allá, en los rincones verdes de Venezuela, el turpial canta como si el país tuviera alma.
El cardenalito, frágil y rojo intenso, resiste como símbolo de lo que aún podemos proteger.
El oso frontino, el perro de agua, el caimán del Orinoco…
todos guardianes de un territorio que respira diversidad, fuerza y memoria.
Cada animal, una metáfora.
Cada encuentro, un recordatorio:
Somos parte de esta tierra, no sus dueños.
Hoy no solo hablamos de fauna.
Hablamos de raíces.
De lo que nos conecta.
De lo que aún podemos honrar.
In Paraguaná, the fox walks stealthily, as if knowing that wisdom makes no noise.
The bald-tailed fox peeks out in the night, reminding us that even the small has its place.
And the deer, with its soft steps, seems to dance with the land that gave it birth.
Farther away, in the green corners of Venezuela, the oriole sings as if the country had a soul.
The red siskin, fragile and intensely red, resists as a symbol of what we can still protect.
The spectacled bear, the water dog, the Orinoco caiman...
all guardians of a territory that breathes diversity, strength, and memory.
Each animal, a metaphor.
Each encounter, a reminder:
We are part of this land, not its owners.
Today we don't just talk about wildlife. We talk about roots.
About what connects us.
About what we can still honor.
